Still trying to work out if it's better to trade 5 bronze for a silver or keep the gold for packs...I'm leaning towards the latter as you could get 3 on-field players as opposed to one solid player.

Can go either way. Trading in for a Silver means you're likely not gonna get a spud, but can't really get a gun either. A pack could be 3 spuds, 3 guns, or anything in between haha

Packs have a 71% chance of getting a silver or better. Trading obviously a 100% chance.
Packs have a 28% chance of getting a gold or better. Trading obviously a  0% chance however at worse get you 17% of the way to a Gold.

Packs cost 20 and at the moment worse case scenario you lose 11 gold.
Trading costs 15 basically and worse case scenario you lose 10 gold or 17% of a gold through trading.

in saying this kinda regret trading :P that is though because i got stupid Jeremy Howe.

I believe you got *Daniel Howe* not *Jeremy Howe*, you got the Hawk Spud version.

correct he is that much of a spud i forgot his name and just went with the good one. I zoom in the page and read my players letter by letter. Was really excited when i saw Howe then i thought hang on wouldn't he be Gold. Then massively disappointed when i remembered Daniel existed.

How else do we make gold apart from selling our cards?  I'm assuming we get gold based on our points each week or how high we're ranked in relation to each other/matchups etc.  Any other ways to get gold?

Also...is there any combination of different tiers we can trade up?  eg I want to trade 2 bronze + 3 silver for a gold etc?

That is all...for now...

you make gold by how you go each week so the top socre will get 100 gold then the next is 80 gold and so on. You also can get gold from the mini games (there is one now to win 10 and 5 gold)

at certain points in the season you can either win or everyone gets the chance to put a player up for auction. people then bid on that player and they pay you that gold for them.

You cant trade combinations of bronze and silver or any other combinations.

My team is absolute trash, Stevie J, Rhys Stanley and probably Ryan Clarke are the only ones who you could probably lock in for R1. Acres, McCarthy, Shoenmakers, and Petrie (yuck) are the others with chances but flower me it's ugly.

Are we able to buy extra packs and go into negative gold? A couple of teams show a negative number in the google sheets?

Neither of those teams are actually in negative gold, it's just that the sellbacks have not yet been updated on the Google Sheets.

This will not happen throughout the rest of the year, just a little flat out with everyone buying bulk packs at once!
Normally I will update after sellbacks and exchanges immediately.

I figured everyone would prefer to get their opening packs quickly than wait for spreadsheets to be updated.

I certainly understand the confusion though! I hope to have it all cleared up by tonight and we'll be right to roll.
