I'll pick him up cheaper if i need a R12 bye player around the byes.
Why start with a guy who is fully priced, just had a calf niggle or w/e it was and has signed up for T.V deals.
We know where his average likely falls so why not go for more value or a higher ceiling player instead of starting with your D4-D6 premo?

Hamstring tendinitis + KPD + always has a stinker so will be cheap at some point during the season.

The combination of factors.  Even if he is completely over the injury.. it hasn't been a perfect pre season for him.

he doesn't have more upside then Adams and Laird does. If i was picking a 3rd defender would be him or shaw.

He will still be a gun like he is every year. Won't make the slightest difference but I put him in the same basket as Laird and Adams and I have them slightly ahead as I think they can break the 100avg.
