Interested to get peoples thoughts on Shuey & Gaff

I'm very close to getting in Shuey - I don't think there is a great risk as his output should still be around his $$ average as a minimum, but I think he can increase PPG this year - Ive been watching him closely the last 3 years or so

Anyone know if they both have had a full pre season without any niggles?

Both have shown that they will not get to the premo level Shuey is closer than Gaff but would not pick either

IMO its Shuey for SC and Gaff for DT.

As yet though, they have not shown they can be elite in the salary cap games. Both are very good additions to a draft team midfield however.

Shuey could be a nice POD, and his round 12 bye is very attractive

Just not sure there's enough upside to risk it - could put in a few lower scores than others of similar price

Shuey or S.Mitch a real option after the byes as Eagles finish with 7 of 11 games at DS.

Would put money on Sammy missing a game or 2 in the run home.

Certainly possible.

Firstly I declare an interest being a WCE supporter, BUT that said I think both Shuey and Gaff will benefit from Smitchell "general-ling" in middle. Add in a fit Dom Sheed and i see a fair bit of upside to both this year. Shuey finished like a train last year.

There is also a potential increase in scoring potential IMO for JKennedy with better delivery into the forward line.

Not saying SMitchell is the magical ingredient but his professionalism and "stillness" round the ball seems to translating across the midfield group in better decision making.

Just hope the training and preseason impact translates into the season proper

DT Gaff, SC Shuey, debating Kennedy ... hard to pass over a coleman medalist

StuL

No and no. Easy. Next question?

Kennedy is definitely a good option...Ive looked at it - he is still up top on my watch list - my team may change 20 times in the next 2 weeks

A massive home ground advantage and its fair to say, besides Nic Nat going down, the Eagles are going to only get better this year...I don't expect them to fall away

They played in a GF only 18 months ago...theyre flying under the Radar I think ... you will be surprised what a fit SMitch will do to that team...he won Hawks B&F last year remember

I can see the wingers getting good supply off half back / in the guts from Mitchell, those wingers with good skills like Gaff, Jetta & probably Redden will then be banging it on Kennedy's head a fair bit more this year
