I have the cash to upgrade Swallow to Beams, or might spend the money else where.

GoLions

Beams is the biggest risk, but also biggest reward

Think Swallow is a much bigger risk at one stage about a year back they were saying his injury could be career ending that sounds to me like a serious problem and something that could easily raise its head again

Both are risks and these are well known however with the lack of rookies it looks like a year where taking a few gambles could pay off.

Both have looked good in pre-season games and are in my side.

To those saying they have both, do you also have O'Meara? If so, how are you fitting them all in? One too many risks in the midfield if you have all 3?

Ringo

I have all 3 at the moment basically due to the number of rookies that are falling to injury or not playing in JLT. May reassess when Rd 1 teams announced.

Same I have all 3 and it's risky but the reward clearly outweighs the risk imo of what these guys are capable of!

Ringo

However to answer the question raised think Swallow is the bigger risk as his injury was threaening career ending so he will have that subconsciously. However in saying that Swallow has the capacity to make cash more quickly and allow upgrade.

I have both, but Beams the much bigger risk imo. A lot more expensive, and his knee could go at any moment in reality.

I consider all the mid rookies far more riskier then all 3. The rookies have questionable JS or scoring ability.

Currently got Beams and Swallow in SC with no JOM, JOM and Beams with no Swallow in all other formats.  Prefer Swallow over JOM in SC format.

if they both stay on the park beams you would think would score much higher than swallow.
risk around the same, reward is in beams favour

you would hope beams scores much higher. he is priced at 150k more.

Swallow is low risk as he is only 80k more the McCluggage, Beams is 230k more so thats sizeable.

Like most coaches I have both and it's a flip of the coin whether one or both will make it through the season injury-free. Let's face it they both have convictions, but if I have to pick the one who is most likely to re-offend my gut tells me Beams.
