Does anyone think he can keep it together for the season and be a top 6 def?

not sure benn in and out of my team so far

Ask yourself if you would have posted this or even considered him in the slightest if he scored a 50 today

Definitely can. Don't judge him on tonight but judge him on his scores from Rd 7 onwards last year. Averaged over 100 playing in the role he has now. Prior to Rd 6 he played up forward and all over the shop. Only bad thing is his bye.

Not the worst pick by any stretch, plays a very similar role to Docherty & Heater but is 80k cheaper.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)

Been alternating with Docherty in and out of my team. Had him last year and definitely going again. Found a way to have them both.

Wouldn't you rather adams from same team for not much more ?

Not sure... Depends how flush with cash one is... I think Howe and Adams are priced about right. Howe is a great pick IMO.
Considering injury history/ games played per year perhaps wouldn't one rather have Howe at a cheaper price.

My thoughts as well. Think Howe gets the intercept/rebound points while Adams shares with Pendles /Sidey/Treloar etc.

Yeah it's an interesting one. I just think Howe is more likely to put in a shocker than The midfielder Adams but then weighing up the injury risk makes it a good debate.

Pretty much my concern. Can he handle a forward tag is the question? He has the scoring ability, but I wouldn't be surprised to see teams play a shut down option on him and see a few 60s, if he can learn to deal with that though his top end is probably as good as any defenders except maybe Shaw.

No sure that the forward tag is the issue with Howe, he's more the intercept mark/3rd man in player. His scores are probably more likely to suffer if he gets a defensive job on someone and loses his freedom

No, no i wouldn't
I reckon there's a bloody good chance the more durable Howe outscores Adams for overall by years end.

If you haven't seen it already, Fantasy Freako posted that Howe was number1 on the comp for winning 1 vs 1 contested ball in the back half.
Even Buckley's not stupid enough to mess with a good thing like that.

I'll be watching Howe as a upgrade target as i think Laird,Vince,Shaw,Simo are all top starting options.
