Not sure how many people here are in a position to watch it, but the season finale is on GO! at 10am.

Thinking about the finale a bit more, I'm pretty settled on what I reckon the boot order might be.

I think Cirie goes at F6. Aubry will probably win immunity keeping her safe.

Aubry goes at F5 because she's pretty much been on the outer all game, Brad a likely contender for winning immunity.

I think there's a decent chance these two are switched and Aubry gets twist-flowered but her edit can also simply be explained by being on the wrong side of votes more often than not and being on the outer in general all season. Pretty much everyone she aligned with got sniped pretty quickly.

Also the advantages will probably come in to play at some point (think F6 is the last time they can be used iirc, might be F5 for idols, can't remember even though I should know this lol).

Tai goes at F4 because at this point they'll find out he had two idols the entire time and Sarah almost certainly wins immunity or she'd be getting voted out but the edit doesn't suggest that at all. Also, Sarah's smart enough to know Tai's probably his biggest competition of the three considering Troy's been a completely non-entity all season and Brad's had a couple of iffy moments and had a weaker game post-merge.

Basically:

F6: Cirie
F5: Aubry
F4: Tai

Sarah wins, Troy probably doesn't even get a vote, Brad might get a couple, but Ponderosa videos suggest everyone loves Sarah and aren't so hot on the other two so it could easily be a clean sweep like last season.

Had the pleasure of watching it live. What a season.

Genius. Very good read!

The way Cirie went out was epic!

Pretty much went as expected, but I still wanted Culpepper to get the W :(

Overall it was a pretty disappointing season for me. Some others I have been really into and following a lot, this one just felt so faked and boring.

Nige

The worst bit was that Brad would have won if he wasn't so hellbent on getting revenge on Tai.

If he gets rid of Sarah at F4, he wins the game.

It was even worse because he looks so defeated at the finale and reunion and Probst just kept rubbing it in.

Interesting to know that if there is a tie at FTC the no-vote getting finalist becomes the tie-breaking vote. I've heard people speculating that it might be the case for S35 but honestly, I doubt that will happen.

I thought it was an above average season, so maybe like 14th out of 34. Would've been much higher obviously if Tony, Sandra, Malcolm, and JT had made the merge but it was still good, got some great characters out of some relatively fresh faces. It's no heroes vs villains and it's no second chances, but it's alright with me

Nige

Yeah, HvV is still the best all returnee season.

Second Chances probably the next best.

Game Changers comes in 3rd.

All Stars definitely the worst in my book, but I still enjoy it.

Nige I want to know what happens in a 4-4-2 tie! I wish that was explained!

This season was definitely not in my top 20 seasons.

Nige

So since we're talking about season rankings, I thought I may as well give it a crack now that the 34th season has just finished.

The top of the list and bottom of the list are pretty easy for me, it's a whole chunk in the middle that are basically all on par.

I might do my top 10 and bottom 4 and then work a little harder to properly rank the other 20 haha.

Nige

Alright, so here are my rankings with a brief explanation, I'll try to avoid spoilers in case people haven't seen some.

1. Cagayan - Cast was great. Winner was amazing. It also set up some good returns and has people who could still yet return.
2. Heroes vs Villains - Easily the best all-returnee season. You need to watch the seasons in which they all come from first though.
3. Gabon - Winner is bloody mediocre but the location is cool and it has some great characters, plus a famous gif comes from it!
4. Panama - Loved the 4 tribe split, some amazing contestants, a few of which have returned and been great.
5. Kaoh Rong - Had a really good cast, all newbies was great. Honestly there wasn't much to dislike about this one.
6. Cambodia - The fact that the cast was voted in was cool. Boot order was fine. Winner was great. Unlucky to not be top 5.
7. Tocantins - The winner was sensational. The final entire final 5 were great. I feel like this season gets underrated a little.
8. China - One of the more iconic seasons and more good reason. Location was super cool and the cast was good.
9. Guatemala - First season I watched in full so it has a special place in my heart. A lot higher for me than probably anyone else.
10. The Australian Outback - I enjoyed a lot of the cast, a fair few of which have returned. Had some iconic moments also.
(the rest)
21. One World - Winner utterly dominated the game, worth watching just to marvel at how well they played. Concept was okay.
22. Thailand - A few interesting characters but this season just kinda bored me.
23. Marquesas - Winner sucked but it had some legendary characters, one of which should have returned but never will probably.
24. Redemption Island - Concept was meh. Cast was mostly ordinary. Was pretty easy to tell who the winner would be.

RaisyDaisy

I'm def not tragics like you guys but the few seasons I've watched Russell Hantz is my all time favourite contestant

He was so good, built for the game, although his approach wasn't to make people happy and like him

jvalles69

Just finished watching last night, I'm not as critical as some of you guys, thought it was a solid entertaining season, can't do much when faves get voted out early, and 34 seasons in means it's going to be tough to continue to pump out high quality, which in my mind they do.  Even when I'm like this cast sucks, I get hooked anyway 4 or 5 eps in.

Brad was blinded by his revenge on Tai, otherwise he would've played close to a perfect game, Jeff rubbed that salt in with a splash of vinegar for sure.

Didn't really like Sarah throughout, but she did everything right and she was obviously playing to win this time.  Prob the most emotional win I've seen, she was in a bit of shock I think.

All in all, good season, look forward to the next one and I have a feeling our wedding photographer is going to be on the Australian season!  :o
