MGK1 Pre Season

Backs: Happy to go with the 3/5 backline hopefully the rooks all get games. Not sold on any midprice options especially Thurlow.
Mids: Myers going down caused a change up, but 4 captain options and 2 talented mid pricers is my favourite combo, Fyfe could also be Heppell.
Rucks: GAWN lock, Stefan Martin pending Archie Smith not playing otherwise I like Grundy 3rd best.
Forwards: 2 bulldogs are locks, Toby Greene should be a top 6 forward. Don't wanna risk Heeney. Matthew Kennedy my smokey at 0.79% owned.

Not a bad side at all and can see where your headed with it!  :)

Couple of things though - J Barrett is only on rookie list with lions...will need to be promoted to get games

And if Stefan is hampered by Archie and you don't want to go down that path have you considered Ryder? Port are going to use him as R1 with Trengove as the rotation to fwd line...

My rookies are just placeholder at the moment, hopefully some 150k rooks come up for round 1 :s

Ryder is tempting given his discount but i don't know if I trust the players coming back after the suspension, probably between him and Grundy though.

Appreciate the advice.
