Gone for a deep mid field to start off with this season.

Not sure on Gawn, Sandi and Ryder in the fwds. If Sandi plays first round then I'll pursue this combo.

I like the Sandi pick as long as you have cover in the forward line which you do.

Good side mate well done :)

This is a lot of peoples opinion. My question is why?

If sandi goes down you would have him on field anyway most likely so youll cop his score.

if he does go down you just trade him out. ryder sitting in fwds wont help that.

Trades are very valuable things ;)

But I guess the thing is who else is a good choice at his price? You'll need an extra 200k lying around to get a keeper in if he goes down early.

Welcome back Cuz -

Solid Team first up and one to sit on until we get an idea of which rookies will become available Rd 1. Already we now have Meyers injured,

Do not mind the Sandi pick with cover. Only issue will be if Sandi goes down early and you have to double trade. He does not do a lot of travelling in the first 10 rounds so if he stays healthy should make cash.

Trades were a lot more valueable a few years back when we only had 24.. now we can take a small risk. I have sandi and cover(not ryder) my point is if sandi goes down having ryder wont make a difference... your nor going to sit sandi on the bench you just trade him... only use of ryder would be to put him into ruck and buy a fwd at 300k or less but then ryder is your r2... why would you want that... a better option is have 200k spare(which not many can do) so if he does go down you have options.

I think sandi will make $$$ that's why I have him. I think ryder at Port is a wasted spot on your team... you can have one without the other

Think the issue with cover and he has Ryder with DPP Link if Sandi misses a game or 2 Ryder goes to ruck and he has forward coverage.
However think all agree if Sandi goes down for a fair period he gets traded. The risk here is that you will probably need $100k+ to get a performing ruck in. To be fair still tossing up as if Sandi is fit and with very little travel involved in first 10 Rounds will be making money as you say. Can however see him being rested in later Rds with trips to Brisbane and Sydney.
