Agree with Money Shot. Macrae much better option in my opinion. Not a fan of key position types in Supercoach, especially one that has gone through what Roughy has. Dont think he will be a keeper, and at that price, much better downgrading to a playing rookie and upgrading elsewhere.  For what its worth, I have both Rocky and Hanners. Rocky (injuries aside) has the potential to go "big" and I think will find that form consistently again this season. Hanners has stepped up his commitment even more so with his abstinence, and could go even bigger again! Think both will be top 10 this year. Again, this is just my opinion.

Backs:            H.Shaw - A.Rance - R.Laird - C.Hampton - E.Vickers-Willis - L.Ryan
                     (N.Newman   T.Stewart)

Mids:             P.Dangerfield - S.Pendlebury - D.Hannerbery - A.Trealor - T.Rockliff - N.Fyfe - S.Powell-Pepper - D.Myers
                     (N.Freeman - J.Pickett - J.Graham)

Rucks:           M.Gawn - T.Goldstein
                    (L.Strnadica)

Forwards:      J.Kennedy - L.Dahlhaus - H.McCluggage - R.Knight - J.Bowes - A.Black
                    (S.Bolton - B.Eddy)

With this team I have $151,700 remaining, So I still do have some freedom to play around.

BOLD players are players that I have considered definite starters and I would need decent convincing to remove

Italic players are players who I can consider sideways trading.

Red players are changed players from original team (N.Freeman and R.Knight are just price fillers to save the team on SC)

Looks much better than your first team :)

Well done mate :)

After all this midfield rookie drama! blew up the team and tried to see what I could do.

Can understand and probably time to sit,

Personally prefer Ryder in forwards with Sandi as the cheap ruck.  Reason for Sandi in the ruck is I can see him playing most of the first 10 games as very little travel involved. If he stays healthy should enable a straight trade to the best performing ruck after Gawn. Another reason for Ryder in forwards is the Rd ( bye as iut is 22 required on field and you will be looking at a donut. Only real issue I have with this team.

Agree if you want Ryder in the team I think he should be cover for Sandi at R2.

Sandilands injury history scares me off. But to say if I was to get him in. Should I Roughead to Ryder for backup now that I have got that extra 120k

That is what I would do as you can expect minimum 90+ from Ryder which is handy back up.

Scooter and JOM...? Why...

Much rather: Goldy, Heppell, Rookie, Macrae over JOM, Scooter, Ryder and ROughy

PureSwag

Your team great but the only thing I've got to say is move ryder to the ruck and put sandi in ruck if sandi stays healthy then that's a steal in my opinion.

yeah I saw value in dropping Gawn to Goldstein which gives 60k, and then Ryder to Sandilands which gives 120k

Also taking Nankervis as backup gives me a few more points rather than an inexperienced rookie.

Ringo

Just also be wary of putting too much emphasis on JLT scores too many variables.  Steele could be the tease of this year always one or two.

Nice Structure and team though just need to hope sufficient defensive rookies play each week. I would see if I could get a third prem defender if possible to minimise rookies. Reason for saying this that defense rookies are relative slow burn as well so will take time to complete team.

However go with own gut.
