I would argue the 1st option yields more points.  More risk perhaps, but perhaps not.

Just cause its a trade in your ruck line, doesn't mean there are any more trades overall.  There are other factors to consider yes, but based purely on trades, there is no difference in set/forget ruck v set/forget mids

Taking you will have little cash left by the start of R1 fixing your rucks that are worth little is gong to be harder than fixing the mids you have named in option 2 , if Swallow went down in the first couple of rounds it is looking like you will be able to get O'meara for a little more , if Sandy goes down or Witts is replaced in the first couple of rounds where do you go ? you will say I have Ryder but that then weakens your FWD's ?

Ryder would be cover for both Sandi/Witts.  FWD bench rookie would be the cover for Ryder.

Just like a MID rookie on the bench would be cover if Swallow misses.

I get that there is less options on the bench (or elsewhere) to cover a ruck, but there is enough upside for the option to be considered.

I know it's not a cookie cutter Fan Footy structure, but that is what appeals to me ;)

Treloar is 40k cheaper than Gawn, so that is not the right comparison either.  Pendles v Gawn is the right comparison based on price.

At the end of the day, cost is a major consideration when trying to squeeze the most out of your starting 10M to maximize your points across the season.

The comparisons are more about proving the point of a value proposition.  If people can't see that, then there's less people I have to beat!!

Cost comparison doesnt work though as there are obvios pick ups just because someone is more exoensive doesnt mean they are better.

I think fyfe rocky will outscore treloar who is more pricey i just cant pick 5 rockys for the mid.

So my comparison is actually witts sloane v gawn powel pepper.

Go with max value. I dont think witts is good value as downside is huge.

Anyone who picks Jarrod Witts as there R2 is a complete silly person and shouldn't play SuperCoach, do not understand why people are being sucked in hahahah, has poteinal to be dropped after 2 games and even if he does play what's he going to score like 50 every week
