Gaff

I'm very intrigued with gaff this year. Will the addition of Mitchell help him giving us he can play that in and under and Gaff can be first handball receive. On the border of slotting him in as a POD mid. Liken him to scully from GWS. Feel he has a tad more upside that Scully, but Scully would be more consistent

Wouldn't be a bad pick but I just don't see him being a top 10 player and from the start of the season they are the guys you want in your team.

See him averaging 104-108 and being a top 10-15 player so in my opinion he would be a bad pick:

I'm probably as Eagle-bias as you can get, and I wouldn't even pick him. Like others have said, his role is not entirely conducive with huge SC numbers. Needs to win more of it on the inside and probably impact the scoreboard to be 1) more consistent and 2) turn those 90-100s into 120-130+

Not a shocking draft pick for somewhere deep in your midfield, but not someone I'd be banking on being top 10.

Definitely discounted due to his massive concussion though.

I have Gaff in AFL fantasy but do not think he is SC premium - He runs and runs and runs and gets lots of possessions, is tougher than he looks, BUT does NOT kick goals and does NOT tackle and many of his kicks are <40m => reduced SC scores

"Champion Data will award zero points for a kick that travels less than 40 meters to a contest" from Herald Sun SC site

Does his job - on the OUTSIDE

No.1 in in uncontested possessions 

Not for SC IMO

And Murphy is averaging 142, 3 good games doesn't automatically make a player a long term option.
Gaff doesn't have the ceiling to offset low scores he will get.
