Got a scary fact for those trading him out.

In his first season

In his first game went ok with 72 (basically same as this year)
In the second game played really well for 117 (89 this year but 36 touches)
Had a shocker in his 3rd game for 40 (like this year)

Then went 100 119 90 89 104

Could history repeat?

History can go shove it!

If you can move O'Meara on this week for a mid premo then do it!  8)

Ringo

Was initially holding but then looked projections for Swallow and he will surpass O'Meara if not this week then certainly the next. So O'Meara to Swallow for $50k cash to help with upgrades later.

I got sucked in by the hype. He's gone this week or next. Hawks on the slide and he's way too handball happy.  Crouch mk#2. Midprice madness strikes again.

For those of us with Gawn I have to hold him this week. Fix up Gawn first and Newman comes in for the other trade. If he spuds it this week he'll most like have a break even that makes him need to go. If he happens to ton up or something unlikely he can be held for a few more weeks.
This is me, fingers crossed he can kick it to his teammates this week

Needs to get kick/HB ratio back to his normal as well as improve the tackles, marks and goals
Mitchell needs somebody to give it too.  Why cant JOM play link role at every 2nd stoppage

Its obscene, isnt it? 1:1 is the worst he should be. Guys like Gaz can be 1:1 but ideally he needs to go full Dusty or Danger.  Its tough in the clinches but quality players break clear and get yardage or follow up for the 'give and go'.

Holding O'meara isn't going to hurt your team if your in great shape with your premos and have most of the rookies with high scores rolling thru their averages for cash generation but With his current scoring patterns it is obvious that you are going to need to hold O'meara for much longer than anyone had hoped for in order to get some decent cash so i understand why some are upgrading or even downgrading to a rookie they missed instead of holding him for half a season or more.

Those figures scream no confidence with his knee and any sort of impact. Only wants uncontested possessions and no opposition contact, unfortunately.

RaisyDaisy

Only laid 5 tackles for the year so far which isn't great

The Hawks won't care about his stats much this year.
They will just be wanting him to get a full year under his belt unscathed.

Disgusting the lack of respect AFL coaches have for our fantasy strategies.

Holding him for this week, but if he spuds it up he's out. Not a lot of cash in the bank and already have Swallow, SPP, SPS and Parfitt, so not wasting a trade (yet!)

Keeper27

dropped him last week for Murphy.
happy so far with the trade
