Will look at getting in another gun mid but need to generate some cash.
Yep holding until i can get more cash to upgrade him

HoleMeal

Stewart to Newman
O'Meara out, HIbberd down to Mids and HELLO Mr. T. Adams  ;)

On second thoughts, might just hold and use Hibberd to loophole M8

I am holding as well - You do not see too many players going huge against their former teams. Will be watching next week to see signs of improvement as this will be 4th game into season after 2 seasons out and an interrupted preseason.
Expected to rise 25k this week and will look at his B/e next week as well.

I watched from the 2nd quarter onwards and he played mostly up forward.

If Hawthorn keep using him like that then there is no choice other than to trade him.

Will only go up about 5-10k. 25k expectation was based of scoring 80

Exactly what I was looking for. Makes it an easy call!

IMO it is premature to be trading him this week.

He had 2 solid JLT games, Solid R1, Strong R2, Poor R3 in a 86 point loss.

He is 316k, what did you expect when you picked him?
He was never going to come out averaging 100, he will have a few 100+ games and a few sub 60 games, likely ending in an 80 average.

This just reaks of people being reactionary because of a poor score, much like Roughy & Hanners last week.
You can say he played forward, but no one knows the reason for that, maybe it was just that they wanted to see how he went in that role while they were already losing.

Goosey

Should have traded him this week but held off making trades, he should have been Murphy, if I can, he will be trade bait this week.

PowerBug

Woah woah woah hold the press. Did a midpricer just not do well and people are acting all surprised? :o Surely not I thought midpricers were the way to get 6 guaranteed 100% no risk keepers for the price of 3.

I would think trading him is a silly move, considering he hasn't scored too badly. If he's still going to go up in price it's a wasted trade to me.

Went GHS to Butler and JOM to Murphy for the leftovers. So far a great choice for me, but I saw it as culling two rookies for another rookie and a premo, so my first 'upgrade' (despite the fact I could have started the other duo...).

The way JOM is playing he will stagnate and may hit 400k, but many points lost in the mean time, and a big cost still to go up to a premo. Up for an extra 114k was too cheap to pass up

Goosey

I expected, that in a better team (possibly a poor assumption) that he would score well.

44 today was just deplorable, and if you keep the faith for next week you risk more of the same.

As I said, for me he should have been Murphy but I baulked when it came to trades this week.

In this game, you snooze you lose...so as I said, trade bait this week.

Bully

Bottom line for O'Meara is that he's lost his money making ability. That score will linger for the next 2 weeks so it's pretty much now or hold off until the byes. I don't have the cash to go straight to a premo but will look at ways to get it done next week.

I think it's silly but talk me out of this trade.

Pickett -> Newman via Adams, JOM -> Murphy.

Chasing points? I believe so. But MM is going nuts.
