Hey guys, have been playing around with my squad a fair bit, and am relatively happy with this setup, let me know what you think!

How much $$ left??

Not sure about Ryder though.

Thanks boys,
I have 41k left. Ryder is a wait and see at this stage, I've had Witts as R3 and Caddy/Heeney as F3 at various stages, though that meant I had a 200k defender rather than Hibberd.
Ryder I feel 'should' play the bulk of the season in the ruck, where he will rack up way more points than he's priced at (77). He could feasibly be a top-10 forward, whilst also providing cover for my rucks. Regardless, he hasn't been below an 85-average since 2009, so I'm fairly comfortable, providing he looks fit in the pre-season games.

Thats all pretty hard to argue with. I suppose this statement is the key providing he looks fit in the pre-season games

Exactly! I expect his touch to be off a bit, though I'd hope that he's had plenty of time to get his body right, staying fit and hitting the gym consistently. If those boxes are ticked I'll likely line him up for round 1.

Given the amount of Sunday games they play I would think that Strnadica from freo would be a better FD pick at R3.

I have my reservations about the Ryder pick but as the number 1 ruck he has the runs on the board to suggest a 90-100 average is very possible.

Surely he will play as the number 1 ruck as Lobbe is useless. Whether Ryder has the fitness to be worth the gamble is something to consider but the JLT games will give a good guide for this.

Same goes for Hibberd. He has burned coaches in the past (myself included) but at a new club after a year off he has to be a gamble as well.

Only reason I'm not picking Ryder is due to the round 9 bye. Will really consider him after that however.

I considered this as well, though in picking him I really want to squeeze the value out of him as best I can, can't see him sitting at 400-odd for long.

Re: Strnadica, I like the idea, though I was burnt last year by picking a FD when other cash-making rookies were available. If It looks like Cameron is any chance of games I'll be tempted to start with him instead.
