Think I'm gonna go Swallow, Bowes and Sexton and that's if for the Suns
bowes only atm.    swallow maybe depending on starting rookies.    how many port players will you start?

Nige

Micky Barlow is the Suns player we should all be picking!

is on my watch list if he has a couple of low scoring games early could pick him up after the byes.    probably a 105+ avg scorer with potential for 110.  so has to be correct value to pay off

aces-high

Erm, only rooks if they get picked Rd 1...White, Powell Pepper & Dan Houston ...I have Wines on the watch list

Only Swallow at the moment - Bowes, Brodie and Ainsworth on radar if needed and playing.

Miller, Lynch, Barlow, Hanley, Martin and Ablett all being watched for possible upgrade targets after Rd 9 bye.

What do people think of Gaz's first game did not watch it but saw he played forward his score seems quite low because his stats look quite good same for Touk Touk his score looks low as well any explanation ? , after looking through scores think Lynch is worth considering but no else

Lynch is going to be the best big forward in the game over the next 5-8 years.  Expect him to improve 5-10 points per game this year.  Currently F2 in my team.

Just going by scores is misleading.
Ablett started forward, but did play through the mids as well. Looks solid and will get better, it would be a risk to start him, but definetly on my radar as a late season pickup when I have strong enough bench cover.
Lynch will be a gun, but I want him to show the improvement before I pull him into my team after his bye.

Im starting to warm away from Swallow myself.
Ablett Back, Touk Improvemnet, Barlow In, Hall improvement, Hanley In. Im just a bit concerned that he won't be able to pull consistent 90+ scores.

If he was to average 85 (Which is my expectation) he would make a maximum of 180k.
A 180k player who averaged 70 would make 200k. Getting a cheaper rookie would be even more than that and I see a few that could easily do that.

If he was a FWD or Defender it would be a lock as there would be a chance he became a premium, but in the mids you also need the strong cash generation.

Scores are misleading both Gaz and Touk seemed to have solid games and stats to match but both scores seemed quite low did they have a lot of meaningless possies ?

My latest team only has Beams in it.    May become JOM before round 1.   Will make final decision on Swallow after rookies are known for round 1.     Suns midfield is deep.   However we have plenty of evidence that deep mid depth doesnt realy affect scoring of prem footballers.

Hanley and Miller had 20 CBA's apiece, Lyons 16, Gaz 15 and Barlow 14. Also, Swallow played as inside mid for 14 CBA's. #SuperCoach

This is why I'm still holding onto Swallow. Plus he only went at 55% yesterday and scored 70. He cleans his usage up and he goes 90 easily. Also expect him to find a bit more ball, with an increase on his tog % also, which was 76% yesterday.

So Will Brodie's game time appeared to be managed last night? Do we think this rules him out for Round 1?

I've been hoping I can plonk him at M8 in lieu of Swallow :-\

Yeah apparently Eade said the two blokes with lowest TOG (Ainsworth and Brodie) would only play low minutes in a hope to play as close to a best 22 as possible. They won't be named next week if they have no injuries. Only good thing is that Bowes will likely debut Round 1. Not a great scorer though
