A simple look over at the GC best 22 big footy board and I'm now super keen on Witts and Miller.

I know it's not much to go on and they aren't coaches but lots of them watch training and have some good knowledge.

Witts as solo ruck and Miller RR...

The round 9 bye is putting me off Miller but I want to pick him. Can easily see him averaging 100 which is what he was doing at the back end of 2016. At 428,900 has to be a strong consideration.

I have Swallow locked in my side and I am very sure that Bowes plays from round 1. He is a gun. Not sure at this stage about other rookies but there are spots available in the suns side.

100% agree with everything you just said.

The round 9 bye won't put me off loading up on GC rookies as the plan will be to have them out by round 9 anyway but it could definitely be dangerous loading up on to many potential keepers. Especially with the Port players on top of that.

I'll wait till round 9 is done then target guys like Miller, Lynch, Ablett if they are dominating

thats my plan with port and gold coast players

also can someone tell me why the league couldn't make them play in china in round 10,11 or 12 so there bye goes with the others? the league just doesnt care about us fantasy players

Jack Martin looks like he's becoming the player he was always meant to be. Best junior footballer I've ever seen.

He will have to prove that to me before I'd consider

PICCOLLO

Has been showing signs but seems to miss games. He's gotta show some intestinal fortitude before I'll pick him.

If jack can avg 100+ I may consider him post Rd9 other than that better to wait for next year and another preseason in him.

Exactly Rd 9 bye where no allowance made is the killer with selecting Suns and Port Players. I do have Jack on my watch list.

Ive watched a bit of the Suns

JMartin is still skinny as anything but throws himself in there...I think he is gonna snap in half this year - I cant see him keeping up an average of 90+...yet

Hanley looks really fit and classy and wouldn't surprise me to go bang early on

Miller looks solid and consistent without being a standout - handballs it too much but is around all the stoppages and seems to be playing on ball a bit...tackles well

Have to agree with all of the above.

Miller is the one tempting me but the bye is a killer.

I have Swallow and Brodie in my team currently. Will Brodie is the pick of the rookies and doing everything he can to put his hand up for round 1. Swallow has looked good and is in my side like he will be in many.

Think I'm gonna go Swallow, Bowes and Sexton and that's if for the Suns
