Just curious to see what people's thoughts are on how much you are wanting to leave as your remaining balance?  I know it comes down to the make up of your team but I'm thinking maybe 90k to upgrade some of the rookies to expensive rookies if you need?

Yeah I have 82500 left with a fairly settled team

I have 4.25 mil left over that will be placed into a high risk/ high return Pyramid scheme that i was talked into over the phone by a stranger with a thick Indian accent.

Once my ''sure thing'' profits starts rolling in around the byes (after a quick swim through my money vault ala Scrooge McDuck)
i'll start pouring my never ending funds into a team of champions supported by a bench of champions and ride home like a, you guessed it!
champion stayer in the Melbourne cup.

That's the plan anyway, not like iv given it much thought.

I have 20k, but I always start with the more expensive rookies in the team so it can be downgraded rather than upgraded. Getting the right rookies are more important that picking the right prems.
Prems chosen should be the locks for top 6-8 positions

Agree with LS as I do similar and currently have 70k as well as expensive rookies.

 :)

$42,900      :-
have included the expensive rookies for flexibility
have selected 11 certain premium keepers   (if there is such a thing)
Caddy and Vlaustin as two "hopeful" keepers
But that's now, tomorrow could be a completely different story.

I've got 10k left with my current setup. for me its not something i tend to stress over, id say just pick the best team you think you can and whats left over is what you have. in saying that though youd probably want 20-50k left over to give your self some wiggle room for early injury and corrective trades and probably not too much more than 100k

crowls

15 rookies and 380K in the bank.

I wanted a decent amount, my current team has 5k, but will change mid pricers to rookies and high ended rookies to cheaper ones for sure
