With reports that Goldy isn't quite 100%, I am sure a lot of us are looking for other options for R2. Grundy will be the most popular by far, but Stef intrigues me.

No third man up helps Stef, as teams often used to combat smaller ruckman like Stef by going third man up.

The only concern for me is Archie Smith. Will he play? What will his role be in the side? How will they share the ruck duties? Any Brisbane supporters here know anything?

If Ryder was not R/F, I'd be seriously considering him as a backup to Gawn.

Stef is definitely on my Radar.

Gawnstein was locked for me but I'm having doubts.

The reason I like Stef over pretty much any other rucks is because he can go 140+ in games where as I don't think Grundy can ...

Currently have both Stef AND Grundy! Will most likely bring in some cheaper rookies to upgrade one to Gawn, though at this early stage I prefer Stef to Grundy.

He did some ruck work at that height credited with 4 h/o in one game haha

Even before his ankle injury (Which I don't think is a problem) I wasn't starting Goldy this year, but Stef has been a strong consideration for me all preseason

Super cheap for someone who can go 110+

Look at it this way RD, I doubt too many will get on him, but even if only a few others have him, it's a few others that share the pain with us if he flunks.

Yeh no double cover available. Good point, rucks are thinning out a lot.    Gawn and Grundy but then Grundy has R13 and this is where I have most outs.     Sandi was perfect the bugger,
