Going to tag this week, are we worried at all?

I picked him up by going taranto to scooter but im not 100% convinced.

mid price players have burnt me this year and why my ranking is soo low. Starting with them one thing but bringing them in is another thing.

article on afl site saying that joel told media that he reckons scott selwood will tag sloane.

just thought people would wanna know.

Another 17 tackles ;) :P

I've cooled off a little bit on Barrett > Selwood, just because Barrett seems like he has plenty more cash to make with a BE of 11.

If he can get to 350k I don't think it's really worth a trade to swap to Scooter who would only make about an extra 100k..

Surely you're not worried about Scooter tagging Sloane. If anything that makes me super happy.

Tackles should be up again this week, he's been getting low disposal counts and scoring welll so that shouldn't affect him and his tog has been low so if he indeed has a role on Rory he'll be expected to be on / off when he does. Could mean more minutes on ground meaning more chance at scoring points.

As already stated his tags aren't super hard and he's done it all his career with fairly good scoring behind him.

Bully

Can Scooter maintain 17 tackles a match? I'm cooling.

im also cooling

however he can probably get more then 16 touches 2 marks.

his 4 games last year he went 20 touches 5 marks.

I actually think he will only average 80 from here on out.

If he puts up 80 80 then he lifts about 80k in price up to 350k then i might dump him. Is 80k and and about 50 points worth a trade? maybe maybe not.

50 points is worth an average boost of +4. The 80k means i can pick up Sloane over say Treloar

im not loving the pick and im sure there is a good chance in 2 weeks everyone will be going why did i pick up this 280k spud but the upside is there.

Would not mind getting him but as it stands now I have 18 playing round 12 without trades getting him reduces it to 17 I could flick Parsons but then it leaves no cover FWD after byes just have to see what unfolds when teams are out

Cooling as well.

Jelwood will complete my mids this week and I will spend the cash finishing my team before worrying about M9.

Don't understand all the second guessing going on

You're not picking Scooter to be in your team all year

He covers RD11 and RD13 and will make close to 150k very easily

Perfect stepping stone

M9 cover is a bonus

Everyone cool off then, I'd love to field Scooter over some half wit rookie this week and Rd 13.

To me if you are picking Scooter now you need to be picking him as a M9 cover for the full year. Going to him as cash generation should only be done if you are in a really good position trade wise as it is essentially a sideways or upgrade from most of the rookies.

The bye cover is a really good thing and what is making me lean towards picking him up.

Everyone's teams are different RD I only have Parsons and Hibberd Nth that are round 12 to unload and they are worth nothing all my other are keepers so I will just have to burn trades to get a rookie if there is one to cover for him , would love to get him but it could blow up in my face if there are any other problems

Can't see any difference between getting a 120k rookie who scores poor and makes 100k and getting Scooter who scores better and makes more cash

Like I said, M9 cover is a real bonus but it's his bye cover, scoring potential and cash generation which makes it a no brainer

Worst case scenario we tip in 100k more and upgrade to a full prem after the byes
