Couldn't pay me to pick him

Two years of 103/104 a very long time ago

Will push 90 at absolute best

As best I can make out he is priced at a 55 average.  How much money would he make if he averaged 90 ?  And if he isn't given a tagging role could he average more ?  Personally I like him and have had him in most of the time but in order to play 6 elite in the mids can't fit him. Wish I could.          :)

A player averaging 90 would be priced at around 490k.  With Scooter's starting price of 281k, this would mean he would make a maximum of 209k, give or take.  About what we expect to make from our rookie cash cows.

I'm all over him if I can squeeze him in, and he has a good role in JLT.  But he will be competing with Swallow and JOM, who bring greater injury risk, but potentially higher scoring.

Not necessarily will he reach $490k. And it's not about reaching that number it's about when he does. I mean, you don't want Scooter to take 20 rounds to meter out to a 90 avg and finally hit that value. You want him to have some 100's on the right weeks which would bring his break even below 0 and then smash it again to keep that value low. This would mean he reaches that value much faster and most likely means he gains value on top of that, potentially low to mid 500's. That's when you think, BANG he's out and thank you very much Selwood. I pushed in a 100 for every single game from Rounds 1 to 10 and it only brought him to $465k. I'm thinking that's his limit, and I may be better off with a rookie.

How does Swallow rate against this ?      ???

_wato

Probably exactly the same ST. Probably will still go one or the other but have to lower expectations on them. They are ONLY stepping stones.

Perthwildcat

280k and very good option during bye period.

103 on opening and with not too many great rookies seems like a good stepping stone or M9.

Thoughts?

quinny88

Wait to see what he does this week but worth keeping an eye on him

elephants

Certainly a wait and see, I think low 80s is more his range though.

_wato

Won't get 17 tackles every week.

Been burnt by Swallow and JOM this year already so not sure if I wanna take that risk.

LordSneeze

103 with 17 tackles isn't a great return.

sammy123

the price is my issue. 100K cheaper then yeah i'd pick him
