The FWD line seems to be one of the toughest lines to predict this season.

Given that most ppl don't select KPPs, it makes it even more difficult to predict the top 6/8/10/15 FWDs

What are ppls thoughts on the top 6 non KPP FWDs this season?

To start things off, what do ppl think of this list? (not necessarily in order)
Dahl
McRae
Caddy
Greene
Ryder
Lids

After this, too hard to predict, and includes possibles like
Touk Touk
The Chad Wingard
CEY
Rioli
Mitch Wallis
Heeney
I Smith
Shane Edwards
Hrovat
Bennell
Higgins
Devon Smith
Jamie Elliott

KPPs not considered, but should be up there
NRoo
JJK
Tom Lynch
Buddy
Gunston
Waite
Roughy
The Hoff
Am I missing anyone?

What, no Higgins

This is an outrage

Yeah good call, I forgot about Higgins. Definitely a chance to go top 10 given NM's departures.  I actually like Higgins a lot, but not enough to start him which is why he's not on my radar

He def is a balls out pick! like you i had 0 interest in him. However playing Wells role and getting bog by a fair margin on Sat has me taking some notice. he had 28d, couple of goals and looking very fit. Its the "Wells" role that grabbed me

I'd be happy to start a KPP, but the ones I think can go 95+ (JJK, NROO, Buddy) are all at max value right now which is the turn off

Dahl and Macrae have scope to improve making them the insta picks, and besides those two there's nothing else I really like at the moment, hence looking at guys like Ryder, Roughy and Bennell

GUNston and Lynch can both go 95-100 imo.

Also like Lids, could start him over Macrae. And reckon Caddy is a chance of matching it with those guys as well, but don't think I'll start him, as I don't see him getting to a ridiculous price at any point.

Caddy I don't mind, because I think he can improve therefore being priced under

Gunston and Lynch probably won't improve too much from their current prices

I think it's best to not start any of the KPP's, and grab one once they've had a stinker or two and bottomed out

Yep definitely agree it's been hard to choose!

Going by early team selections it seems majority are starting with at least one, if not both, of Dahlhaus and Macrae. For good reason mind you.

But picking who else will be in that top 5-10 is tricky.

Riewoldt should do well again, but it's hard to fork out top dollar for him. Deledio is a massive question mark in a new team, but I feel as though he's too much of a talent to not average 95 at the very least. These two plus Dahlhaus are in my side currently.

Then you have the key forwards - JJK, Buddy, Lynch, Gunston and (to a lesser extent) Waite, who will all average around that 90-95 mark. A couple may even push 100, but you'd still expect the odd stinker.

It's the next crop of guys I'm keeping a close eye on, with Caddy being my early pick to finish top 10. Then of course there's Wingard, Devon Smith, Touk, Heeney and a few cheaper options that may break into the top forwards.

Going to be a tough one to pick!

Indeed.  Seems there's only 2-3 guys you can safely say will be there abouts for top 6 FWDs. The rest is speculation.

Devon Smith is definitely another one.  It's just hard to see any GWS players consistently get near 100 pts.  Which puts question marks over Lids and Greene too.

I reckon if you nail it, you will be ahead of the pack.  And if you don't, you'll fall behind.  Almost better to sit back on the 2-3 locks.

It's a year of the KPPs up forward, even though I'll have Dhal and Heeney. I'm starting NRoo as he's a machine and always in the top 6 fwds, Is currently a juicy 5รข,,... ownership, no injury niggles and will play all around the ground again. 170 round 1

 :)

Deledio,   Dahlhaus,   Macrae,   Caddy,   H Bennell,   //    Rioli C,   T Lynch,   I Heeney,   JJk.   Currently have the first four of these but Dahl is at M.6

Jack Riewoldt worth consideration.

Tom Lynch the one for me. Gold Coast are only going to be better this year, give him better delivery. New captain of the club. Several years younger than the other KPP available too and likely the only one yet to hit his best.

Injury interrupted preseason.

I had him originally, but changed to Lids.
