Here's a little something I've been noticing with Fyfe and Ablett....

Fyfe's first big season was 2014:
In rounds where Ablett also played Fyfe averaged 119.83 (12 games)
In rounds where Ablett didn't play: 127.33 (6 games)

In 2015:
When Ablett played Fyfe went: 107.6 (5 games)
When Ablett missed or got injured in Q1: 130.69 (13 games)
This is where my theory started because Fyfe scored 12 consecuive tons to start the season, then GAJ returned in Round 14, played three full rounds, in that time Fyfe failed to get to 100. When Gary went down in Q1 against Adelaide, Fyfe goes back to scoring 100s

2016:
When Ablett played: 118.5 (4 games)
Excluding Fyfe's injury game even though it'll help my theory

2017:
When Ablett played: 100.0 (11 games)
Without Ablett: 105.0 (3 games)
Also note here that Fyfe gets out of his form slump the week Gary misses, and the week Gary scored his 210 Fyfe has his worst game of the season


So my point? Nothing really, it's just fun to think that Ablett has some halo which he passes over to Fyfe when injured :P

Ha ha it's just one of those years I'm looking at trading Beams back in for Sloane but am worried about his durability but Sloane is worth so little now there is not much choice  :-\

Looking to be over the injuries.

Darcy is also almost exclusively picking him out at stoppages. Sees captain, goes captain.

Already brought Beams back...traded him out at $476k R7 and paid $552k R13 to get him back.
Fyfe could be a similar story...traded him out at $481k R13 for Beams. If Pendles is out then it's him or Jelly that'll come in.

Is he worth the risk? Who has watched the last 2 freo games, what is he doing differently which has caused the increase in points?
