Stupid to go Fyfe -> Scooter next week? Gives me an extra player next week and $$ to look for upgrades.

I wouldn't. No better chance of Scooter being a safe starting option than Fyfe, so you're probably still going to want to upgrade him later. Depends what you can do with the 150k, but then it's 150k harder to upgrade Scooter than Fyfe, though that gap will close. money wise it makes a bit of sense, but trades wise not really.

Shaw is doing enough to hold D6, and because there aren't any must have defenders that I won't already have I'm keeping him and using my 1 luxury trade for the year on Fyfe I think

Bont should be around 520k, granted he has also had a lean trot but I feel a bit more confident. The other options are Martin, Beams & even Gaz if I'm feeling aggressive.

I think you're on the money here. Martin is the best scorer of that lot but he's pricey now after that mammoth 165. Beams and Gaz are too injury prone. Bont is the one. He's had a poor patch yet still notching 90s. Dogs draw opens up from here to home. The other one is Zorko. I think he's an absolute star and if Beams or Rocky go down I'll jump on

Why did you only get one luxury trade?

I try not to do any at all, to reserve a few trades for injuries towards the end of the year but I think Fyfe might need to go but looking at my team I can't really see any obvious choices for me so I might end up holding him

As much as I want this guy gone, I've just worked out that I'll only have 4 trades left with a complete side. Need to finish it first then see what I can do

This is the exact reason why I've had to keep Sandi and Shaw. I have 7 trades, 138k with Newman at D6 (it will be 6 trades when he becomes Lloyd next week) and Scooter at M8. My other issue is rookies like Bolton, Fisher and Parsons will earn me 0 cash. The only guy I can upgrade for a M8 is Greenwood who I don't mind at F7 for the time being.

Similar Quinny would like to luxury trade him but want to see how many trades left when team complete.  At the moment looks like being 4/5

I think I'll just run with Fyfe and Scooter at M7 and M8 for now, and then in a few weeks  time I'll upgrade one and keep the other as M8 for the rest of the year

Id rather straight swap him to Llyod to sit at m8 at least that way i have defensive cover.

I high of 104 in the last 7 rounds is unacceptable, if im getting that i might as well have a DPP guy.
