To good a player to keep putting up scores like the last 5 weeks albeit 2 99's in there starting to think he might be a touch injured or dare I say not that happy ?

I just reckon he doesn't give a toss anymore about playing with Freo and all he is thinking about is the big juicy contract that the Saints will be offering him next year.

Not trying to disagree with you mate, I know you know way more about Freo than I do.

I just like having a difference of opinion to the norm that's all.

I am seriously thinking of trading Fyfe out though. Don't know if I should go Sloane as a direct round 13 swap which doesn't affect my byes or trade him out for a round 11 mid instead.

Being ranked 461 I need to cull a few round 13 players as that's looking like my worst bye so far.

But I don't think I'll be able to get Sloane if I don't do Fyfe > Sloane this week as he will be worth flower loads come round 14. :(

He had like 13 clangers last night including 6/7 FA's, no way that happens every week.

Been fairly consistent (lowest of 98 before this round), so there's no way I'm getting rid of him.

This is the reason to keep him. If only 2 F/a then an extra points and back to 98. Luxury trade for me.

The fact that Fyfe hasn't toned up the last 5 rounds is the big worry though.

If this trend continues he wont even be good enough as an M8.  :-X

Lost 65 points due to Clangers. Never been the cleanest of players but to finish on 78 is impressive.

This sounds about right to me. I'm going to angle for Fyfe at M8 and Shaw D6. Carrying two of Fyfe and say Beams or Treloar would be a bit difficult to justify with so many good mid options, but one of em should be fine.

Disappointed in Shaw but guessing he averages 90-95 from here out - and maybe a 20% chance he gets back to ~105 - so that makes him a probable keeper.

Do find it hilarious that people have moaned about Treloar all year and he is still beating the legend fyfe.

Not only do I want him because of his low be and being a pod plus he's had the bye but he plays freo who in the last 3 against them he has scored a 158 and 168 and plays them at the Gabba where he scores well. Not to mention they just played Crows where Sloane went 177.
