What about this guy I have seen a lot of posts saying the year suspension will be bad for Bombers players and they will start slow but honestly these guys are professional athletes they will do a preseason like all other players and start the season like all other players , he is cheap and a proven scorer got him my team ATM what do we think ?

Your a bombers supporter and that is how you are thinking wow that is really flowered I'm tipping they will be a big chance for the 8 , these are guys footballers they are not recovering from bad injuries to me it's just like riding a bike you never forget  :o

Peter

At his price and record, too good an opportunity. Can always review after JLT and Round 2

i think they could come out really strong then get tired quicker

they might not be recovering from injury but still might lose some fitness needed to run out a season

there was an article saying hamstrings etc are likely for returning players

Meh articles which expert wrote that they have as much chance of doing a hammy or whatever as any other player maybe Dyson will be a nice POD

Not disregarding your opinion man just the expert that wrote the article about hammy's  ;)

To me the break would help the older guys, like jobe, get there bodys right. will hurt the younger players development though. but the guys like heppel who were in their primes is the big question mark for me, will probably start slow but could imagine a big second half for guys like him.

Just too many question marks, highest ever average of 106 and at that price you'd be wanting a keeper, is that really good enough? He'll be less likely to beat his highest average after 18 months of footy and while I'm of the opinion the Bombers will do well, I'd much rather spend the extra 80-100k and get a guaranteed super-premo.

I wouldn't be starting him mate, there's better value options out there at the moment. Take a look at him mid-year. Having a matured Zerrett in the midfield with him will do wonders for his scoring.

I was thinking Zerrett is another reason is not to start him. Don't know how either will go.
Agree that there are better options and a mid year look is recommended.

What do people think about picking him now that he's captain of the Bombers? Personally I have him but it's a toss of the coin between him and Prestia for M6.
