Hammy is never 1 week. It will be at least 2 and could be up to 8 depending on the severity.

Never say never

Could quite easily have been just cramp so a week is possible if the diagnosis is not quite accurate

This could all be connected to back complaint from the week before Doc ?

Yep

Scans will reveal extent of damage and therefore the prognosis and the length of recovery

Sounds like a tear though if RD is on the money about 4 weeks

If a player gets concussion these days, do they generally have the next week off?

The theory of the elite strikes again.

Players rarely repeat such massive years unless they are elite like Pendles or GAJ in the past

Whilst I agree with you on the theory, I'd say it is pretty unfair when an injury occurs and Gawn was looking like a beast in R1 and R2 :P

But durability is very much a major part of it!

That's why you will still pay top $$ for the truly elite like Pendles. They're not just elite at scoring, but also durability

Not an injury, but here seems like a good spot to post.

PORT Adelaide ruckman Paddy Ryder is set to miss Saturday's crunch game against Greater Western Sydney in Canberra after being offered a one-match suspension for striking Adelaide forward Riley Knight.
