Good news for Parfitt's JS I'd assume

Not really for GHS. Different players. They also left out Menegola who would be his direct competition for a spot in the team. I have no idea how he went in the VFL, but if he performs and GHS sucks I'd expect the change.

TBH this could be blessing in disguise for the Eagles, Vardy and Petrie are very similar , yet Giles is a superior ruck but horrible around the ground which now means Vardy can have a good run  as a second ruck and around the ground

GHS took L. Neale right out of the game. Hopefully counts for something in the coaches decision making.

Turns out Neale had 3 offseason surgeries (I had no idea until the game). He wss under done and out of touch like Cripps on Thursday. He dropped a couple of chest marks which summed it up. He did junk up at the end of the game at least.

“Just needs to complete training on Thursday and he should be an automatic in.”
