Max Gawn on the Hot Breakfast this morning said he is having an issue with his back and hasn't trained this week yet but he should be right for this weekend.

If so I'd expect Spencer to be named, they will want to ease his load.

They might even consider resting him if he isn't over the problem. They don't need him to beat Carlton.

For those of us that don't have him, would be good if he plays and then sits out the last quarter and half when Melbourne are up by 60+ ;)

Considering Kreuzers form last week they don't want to go in with Spencer as the number 1. He will play and probably rest forward which isn't bad.  He attended the 11th most ruck contests last week and still smashed it.

I don't have news, but I'm hugely concerned about HAnnerbery and his knee. His preseason was poor and his week one was bad.

Thinking I made a huge mistake taking Hannerbery. Thoughts?

A few in the same boat. Watch close this weekend. His 0 tackle count is concerning and was floating out the back of packs all day.
If the same thing happens, i'll be sideways trading to jpk or find money and go up to pendles.

So relieved I swapped him to the Bont just before Friday nights game

And now he has fallen onto his wrist at training, but still expected to play this weekend. It's like the footy gods are trying to smite him down, but he keeps on getting back up :P

ESSENDON forward Jayden Laverde and Adelaide draftee Ben Davis have been placed on their respective club's long-term injury lists.

Laverde underwent surgery for an ankle injury suffered in a JLT Community Series game against Geelong in early March.

The 20-year-old is expected to return soon after the mid-season bye.

Laverde was the 20th overall pick in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft and has played 18 games in the past two seasons.

He joins David Myers and Jordan Ridley on the Bombers' long-term injury list.

Forward/ruck Shaun McKernan is the only rookie to be promoted so far.

The other rookie-listed players at the Bombers are Jake Long, Sam Draper and Ben McNiece.

Crows utility Davis has had foot surgery to correct a pre-existing stress injury.

The 19-year-old was selected by the Crows with the 75th overall pick in last year's draft.

He is the second player on the Crows' long-term injury list alongside Cam Ellis-Yolmen, who has had a knee reconstruction to repair a torn ACL.

The Crows are yet to promote any of their rookies â€" Jonathon Beech, Hugh Greenwood, Alex Keath, Paul Hunter and Ben Jarman.

Players placed on the long-term injury list are unavailable for senior selection for at least eight weeks.

They just mentioned that Taylor Adams ended up getting an injury in the press conference. Bucks response is he should be fine. I had no idea he copped something during the game.
