If Sandi is a late out today I might consider trading to Grundy..

Had him last year and his run home was really good. Doesn't have the ceiling as others have said, but should be fairly consistent

Is Grundy really worth it though? Been crap for SC this year in terms of average. Would rather cop the donut and trade to Gawn later on, or bring in someone like Stef, Mummy, Goldy etc in the next 2 weeks

In my case I think so.
17 players v 18 players this week.
Assuming Grundy scores his average or thereabouts and you would think he would if Freo are Sandiless then that's 90+ points in the bank and a fair head start over any other ruck I get if I wait a couple of weeks.

But let's say you wait a week and get Stef next week. He is averaging an extra 10ppg, so let's say that continues, that gives you 11x10=110 extra points, plus an extra 60-105 points in R13 when Grundy has his bye.

With Archie Smith in Martin is more of a 70-80 ppg. Grundy is a frustrating player but could finish strongly this year

I would be very surprised if Archie stayed in the side. Stef clearly had no influence on the game last week, and Archie didn't have an influence in the ruck either. Only way he stays in is if he plays mostly forward and Stef rucks most of the game.

Sandi's out and i'll be copping a doughnut with only 17 players.
In R13 I'll have 19 players so sure... Martin will make me have a better score... my second worse score (probs Barrett or Berry on averages) so say 105-50 =55 points... Grundy will score well without Sandi... will have points in the bank and that's always a safer option.

Got a feeling with the bye in round 13,Sandi wont be playing next week either
