Wanted to go with rookies and premos with Lloyd and Henney the only mid priced guys, rookies all just place holders at the moment! would really appreciate feedback and thoughts.

Pretty steady choices, be careful to leave some cash for the more premium priced rookies. Trading down from guys like McGrath, McCluggage, Ainsworth etc... is much easier than trading up to them as its tough to find cash from downgrading premiums.

Only concern is Docherty, i think after only 1 season of being over 95 he isn't worth his price he's a real chance to fall this year. Should be top 10 nonetheless but guys 50k cheaper will score the same as him.

Like this setup I will be going along the same lines 3 strong backs 5 strong mids 2 strong rucks 2 strong fwd's plus Heeney you could even downgrade Lloyd and bolster your fwd's one of the best I've seen  ;)

Money Shot

Huge fan of this team however as said earlier, I would try and find some more expensive rookies because you have a lot of basement price rookies which may not play round one.

love the lloyd pick, dont quite have the balls to pick myself as i think he'll be a half step below the top tier defenders

real solid team youve got there

Thanks for the opinions everyone :) I like my team a lot, my structure is different to other peoples I see.
I think Lloyd will establish himself as sydneys main play maker across half back this year, if he hasn't already!

I have made a few changes to my team will update them above ^

i really hope lloyd works out for ya, i think more people would pick rampe over him as the sydney defender of choice but i reckon id go lloyd

Thanks mate! I've been keen on him since the finals last year, heaps of people keep telling me to upgrade/downgrade him but I'm going with my gut

Simmo in the same boat as docherty for me, unlikely to hold that average... will still be top 5-10

gloryboy

I like this team

Note that Swans and WB have R11 bye, which means you'll be missing 3 premos from your FWD line in the 1st week.

i changed mccrea to caddy in my team when i found that out, id imagine we could strategise around that though and have atleast 2 more premos down forward by that time though

reckon your probably right about simmo, worst case scenario with him is a consitent 95 average which is still acceptable

Here's an up to date version of my team! There are no drastic changes the only big one being Grundy for Goldy. I have 77k in the bank if Goldy looks good going into round 1 but so no problems there.  I know a lot of people won't like the Toby Greene pick but other than Gunston and Buddy I do not like any of the other forward options. Rookies still just place holders really

Team Update:
Held strong through the JLT so far don't want to go making massive changes off these games, I'm happy with this team but.
What are people's thoughts on Grundy? I'm pretty keen on him but still not 100% sold, I prefer him to Stef
