I brought him in round 4 for 2 poor scores as i was just short of macrae.

Will try to find cash to bring in sloane. Worth the upgrade

tkringle

I know they are different positionally, but can't believe I've been sucked into another suns player after copping the damage from Hall last year... goodbye 333 ranking!

RaisyDaisy

Will be very hard to not trade Touk and Roughy to Fisher and a prem this week

Judd Magic

Was never interested in Miller due to his round 9 bye.

He was always going to be a wait and see with me.

I would have brought him in after the byes if he was still killing it!

Disappointing, not sure what to do but am inclined to hold.

I started him, so an average of 87-88ish isn't too bad thus far.

Unless he gets injured, or throws in two more of these 50ish scores I won't be trading him. Didn't play super inside once the game went dead so couldn't grind out a 70-80 like previous bad weeks. Still have faith in him, and would expect a big score against North next week.

North who has lost to dogs by a point. Cats by 3 points.

GC will provably lose the match

I brought him in two weeks ago for JOM.
71 and 48...average 59.5. Need a spew emoji.
No way am I holding, has lost about 15k in two weeks and has a high BE now.
He will probably have some good weeks now but the last two weeks have shown enough to me that he is fools gold.
By trading him to Macrae, there will be no stress no worries.

With the uncertainty with the forwards this year Miller is a definite hold. Would rather stockpile a few of these guys for the byes. Much better than fielding rookies. Granted his score this week was shizen but that's the lowest score he's had in a dozen games. Just as was predicted there's absolutely no standouts apart from Dahl, Macrae & Nank. Possibly Greene but he is also prone to some shockers.

Those who start burning trades on forwards will be shooting themselves in the foot. Miller will be a great swingman when the dust settles.

Agree. I've since cooled down and basically this is the way I see things as of now:

Down back Doch, Laird and Adams are the 3 musts - If/once you have them then just let the rookies like Marchbank, Otten and Hampton do their thing

Similar in the forwards, Dahl, Macrae and Nank are the 3 you want (NROO at max value now so not worth it) so just let Miller, Steele, WHE etc continue doing what their doing.

The mids is where there are plenty of guns to choose from, and that's my first priority - getting another prem mid in and guys like Parfitt/SPP off the field, so Roughy + someone will be on the cards this week. Sloane costs too much, and Rocky/Bont I don't have either but I'm looking at Zorko personally - just love him, and super consistent and a POD

Zorko or Dusty look to be good value at the moment.

Similar situation, but the way I see it I can do a downgrade and an upgrade. so WHE down to Fisher and then JOM to Hanners.

However, I can't really afford anyone over 550 in the mids, so I'm wondering if it's better to double downgrade to leave WHE and Marchbank on field, be a little vulnerable for a week and then upgrade a Parfitt straight to a Dusty/Sloane.

RaisyDaisy

Zorko, Dusty and Hanners would be my picks under 600k. Possibly Zerrett too

Hanners is under 550k, so has to be considered

I want Sloane, Bont and Rocky, but not paying 600k+ because cash generation is a bit of struggle at the moment so need to find max value for money hence the sub 600k guys mentioned

Back on topic though, Touk I think is a hold for now. No way in hell can I continue on with both Touk and Roughy. Roughy is 100% gone, and I just hope Touk delivers on what I believe he can produce

He has up until his bye to prove himself

Good point Bully re: fwds and hanging on to Touk.
My initial reaction to his scores was he has to be traded but after Dahl, Macrae and Nank it is hard to foresee which fwds should fill the last 3 spots...NRoo, Buddy, Greene, Kennedy, Betts, Higgins, Lynch...
Still strongly considering a trade though because my team will be better for who I bring in (Macrae or mid premo). There is also the benefit of having time to see what fwds are the best to bring in at a later point, unless that happens to be Touk.
