I think it is commentary on the fact that you don't just pick your SC team from the AFL team you actually support ...

Also, on topic I saw someone in a Facetube group post up an extract from T&Cs for SC and it said would be open from 11.59pm 24 Jan 2017 AEDST, so just before midnight tonight for those of you on the east coast it seems ...

I read somewhere else that they're apparently opening their NRL fantasy site tonight as well - not sure if the 2 comps are produced by the same tech team, but you'd probably leave it til midnight to keep the opening traffic down a little ... except for the hardcore flowerers off course! ;)

just tried it and site opened and got partway through registration for 2017 when I got an 'unknown server error' ...

anyone having issues?
could just be overloaded with traffic?? :-X :-\ ;)

That'd be my guess. I got in ASAP and had no issues, but would imagine by now there'd be a shower tonne of people logging in and stuff haha

SC opening doesn't actually mean that much. I wonder now why I was getting so excited. Sure, you can join some leagues etc, but most of us already have teams picked.

Now the wait continues.
