1st go at a SC team in 3 years.
Only $10k not used.
The cheap ruck combo idea has got to me. Will wait and see who uses the new 3rd man up rule best before upgrading.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Good team with some nice uniques.

Would stay away from Kreuzer though and if you insist on going cheap in the rucks I would go Ryder.

Lots to like about your team. Agree on Kreuzer though, Go Ryder. Maybe drop Hartlett and upgrade to Gawn/Goldy/Stef.

IMO the 80 point players in Hartlett, Lloyd, Smith and Boyd will hurt you when others upgrade to super premiums and a fair of the rookies won't play early, giving you little chance of making cash

Hartlett and Lloyd could easily go 90+ imo. But it's risky to start with both. I'd drop one of those mid-priced guys to a rookie, turn Kreuzer into Ryder. Or even drop 2 of them, and get Goldy, Grundy, Gawn, etc. in there.

May take the risk on Swallow if he shows anything pre season otherwise he and McClugg will go out for a cheap rook and possibly Beams in at M7 if I shuffle around for the extra $50k. Both players make me nervous at present though.

Reckon u need to try and fit Fyfe into your midfield, especially at his sub 600k price.

Cheap rucks is a big no no! Ruckmen can be two of your highest scoring players every week. I'm the complete opposite to you I have paid over 1 mil for my rucks and went with Gawn and Goldy. SET AND FORGET

true, you could deal with that when it happens.
Or downgrade a MID premo and bring in Ryder.

IMO, too much value in Sandi to ignore.
Just depends on your personal strategy.

I'll be starting Goldy/Sandi, and have Ryder in the FWD line as ruck cover.

If your going cheap ruck go Sandi and Ryder there the two best cheap ruck and could score big. Lloyd, Hartlett, JJ shouldn't really be there. Lloyd is scores are up and down same with Hartlett and JJ who knows how good he will be with Bob back. I whould think go 2 big defenders and go one rook.

Just consider that you will be stuck with Kreuzer and Sandi for most of the season now and you'll Be losing 15-20 points a game by starting them over Gawn and Goldy.

Sandi is fair enough but starting Kreuzer is just stupid (from a Carlton supporter) I would at least start Ryder if you inisist on going cheap in the rucks.
