Obvious rigged event is obvious

Ringo

Do not agree the Nadal/Dimitrov was rigged - One of the best tennis matches I have seen in recent years.  Great game by both players and one of those games where neither deserved to lose with the match point rally typical.

Just how much this nearly 5 hour match takes out of him remains to be seen although Federer also had a 5 set match but has had one more day to recover.

Hope the final lives up to the hype.

The GOAT got the win in the end :) That's number 23 for her now :D (Don't forget her 14 doubles titles too)

Is the final the most highly anticipated tennis match of the last decade? :o

Probably but for me i think its boring, i wanted to see something new :/ Thought both finals this year were very boring :(

Federer last won an Aus Open in 2009, Nadal in 2010. It is different and totally unexpected!! It's 10000000x better than the Murray/Djokovic baseline bore fest that we were all expecting :)

Maybe the matchup is "new", but the players sure aren't - we've all seen them both a million times in grand slam finals. I'd have preferred a Dolgopolov-Raonic or Berdych-Thiem or Isner-Gasquet anyday :P

All three of those match ups are disgusting.

Roger and Rafa over those any day.

Its probably the last ever matchup of 2 legends of the game in for me the best rivalry of all time.

I want to watch legends battle it out ill watch those matchups in the 3rd and 4th round of any slam

Yeah. Spewing I can't watch it.
I remember Borg v McEnroe and Borg v Connors and Connors v McEnroe as a kid... they were great but this is probably better. Go Fed!

I feel like it's been slightly below par so far. So we all know what that means for the 5th set.... (Please be an epic)

There has been some good tennis at times interspersed with some errors. Can not be perfect all the time.
