There's more fwd rookies so I'd try to get in another top defender instead of going deeper up fwd. Rest is good.

Which ones? And if I were to do that who would you recommend I downgrade, Heeney or Bennell? Cheers

Probably Heeney, as long as Bennell looks good in the JLT. Ainsworth I really like. Clugg is another. Don't think that will give you enough cash though...

Why would u wan't another mid, then ur wasting a mid rookie (which is normally the best position for a rookie) and are basically going with a set and forget mid except swallow, meaning I can only make one upgrade and may miss out on a 120+ breakout mid (E.g. Treolor, Bont or Cripps). As far as the defence goes, the only prems I like are docherty and shaw and docherty imo is way too expensive. If I want to keep Gawn and Goldy in the ruck (which I do because I don't trust Sandi) then I would have to get rid of one of dahl or lids which I both see having a better average than Shaw. In addition, there are so many possible breakout defenders, and in years passed I have always been stuck with a number of awkward priced high-end mid pricers that are under performing. Their scores weren't bad enough to warrant a trade and weren't good enough to compete with the top guys and ended up staying in my team the whole year because I prioritised trades on injuries and rookie > prem upgrades, and this made me pay (Houli, Gibbo, Rampe, Hibberd). This year I am keen to go without this. Instead I can pick up those 95+ ave breakout defenders, perhaps like lloyd, hartlett, hibberd, murphy, Hodge, TMac etc around the bye rounds. Different structure to most with only the 2 prem defenders. However with the likelihood of a number of rookies and low priced players available on this line a calculated risk being taken. To minimise risk if you wish you could downgrade one of Heeny or Bennell to rookie of your choice and upgrade a rookie maybe Berry as with his injury setback could be a little underdone. Your choice though,

You definitely do not need another mid.

If happy nice team though to sit on until we se see which rookies play Rd 1.

G'day Lads. Been a while since I've posted. Had a really good first few weeks and was ranked 17th last week. Have dropped back to 142nd and am in need of some advice. Here it is:

Def: Docherty, Zak Jones, Marchbank, Otten, Hampton, Newman (Stewart, Williamson)
Mid: Danger, Pendles, Selly, Bont, Fyfe, Adams, Beams, Swallow (SPP, Barrett, Pickett)
Ruck: Sandi, Witts (Strn)
Fwd: Dahl, Buddy, Higgins, Nank, Steele, WHE (Houston, Hannan)

223k in the bank.
Atm I'm thinking:
Hannan > Fisher and Jones > Rocky
or
SPP > Balic and Marchbank > Rocky

Thanks for your replies. The problem is, if I trade Hannan and Jones, i can't afford Balic and have to settle with Fisher.
So I guess my questions is, is it worth culling March and SPP this early, or would it be smarter to go Hannan and Jones who won't make much more $$. Cheers.
