Haven't seen anyone begin posting their teams, so i thought i'd start it off using the drawing board over at DT Live to assemble my way too early fantasy team for 2017, let me know what you think!

Don't pay too much attention to the rookies etc. (just placeholders) for now! Mainly focusing on structure and premo choices.

like the team.    i will be following and contibuting to rdt and afl team discussions as i need to understand the difference to SC where i am consistent top 1%.     can barely crack top 10 in other games.   all the best for 2017

Slightly different structure to mine - question is do you load up in mids, forwards or backs. Questions over Beams and Parker that will only be answered by practice matches and easy enough to change. Good start.

Great team. Only concerns are the injury plagued players of hodge, adams, caddy and beams. They haven't played full seasons for a long time. Yes they will slightly increase their outputs. But will that be offset by them missing weeks and needing to be covered.

Otherwise a really strong team. And I totally get that the rookies areplace holders until round one.

I'm very tempted to load on Forwards and builld up on Mids. I reckon some of the higher priced mids will fall down in price and can be a bargain at the back end. I could be wrong though

just a couple of comments on the team,

Structure is sound and different to others with a strong forward line. 
Team can be adjusted when rookies are known.
With O'Meara not making an appearance before Rd 4 and not increasing in price till after Rd 6 I would down grade him to a rookie and look at upgrades of mid pricers elsewhere. Come RD 7 you should be able to bring O'Meara in and would have had 2 matches to observe how he is playing and fitting in.
Personal but I would only have one of Heeney or Smith.
