Docherty and Simmo possibly worth their staring price... I personally don't think so and you'll definitely be able to pick them up cheaper. I wouldn't be starting both of them. I like the francis pick, he looks like he could be a gun. If he plays as a 3rd tall forward he wont be worth it but its a yes if he goes down back.

Shallowest midfield i've seen... Danger and Fyfe are ticks, then it falls away. Need to bolster your midfield

Rucks are good and forwards could work... Can guarantee you wont have WHE rd1, he wont line up for the pies.


Only see the 9 keepers, i think you need to get a couple more and drop some of the mid-pricers

Not a bad first up effort  - Think too much of a risk in mids with Beams, Murphy, JOM and Swallow.  Would look at using your left over cash to upgrade one to a premo.  Most teams atm have Beams at M5.

Francis an interesting selection in defence. Realise rookies are place holders atm but surely Myers must be on the radarm

cool structure, there is a lot of value down back.
agree with fasttrack13 on its the shallowest midfield, but not necessarily a bad thing.
i see the value in M3-M6 they could POTENTIALLY make some good points and make a bit of money in the process.
My rucks are the same, as much as i love Sandi i dont trust his durability no matter his price.
FWDs look good.

Thank you Fasttrack, Ringo & Keeper for your advice.  I've made some changes accordingly, though I can't find a suitable upgrade in the for JOM or Swallow with only $96,400 cash.  I anticipate that cheaper rookies with potential for game time will allow me to save a few more $$$ over the expensive rookies I currently have, once that occurs I'll hopefully be able to afford a Premo M5

Why have you selected Francis? Just curious as i havent considered him at all.

If you downgrade Swallow to Jack Graham Richmond who will get games you would have $579k available for a mid. T Mitchell could be a good choice especially with Lewis and Sam Mitchell leaving Hawks.

As a Geelong fan I watched Francis absolutely tear the Cats apart in the VFL finals, my god he was impressive. He was a cut above all else on field.  I don't have any contacts at Essendon but surely they'd have to give him a run this year. He's got loads of talent.

Only real issue is there's no wriggle room for the premium rookies if need be... Thing is rarely many of the top echelon play early, i think you'd be right! Be sticking with that for now
