Would love to hear people's thoughts on
Matt Crouch & Jack Steele

I'm considering Crouch, contested bull and looks like he skills are much better! Not butchering it all the time like last year, in 1.33% of teams! Can he go 110+?

Is Jack Steele legit this year or is he a JLT trap? Has looked really good the last two games and surely is locked in the saints 22? Does anyone think he can score enough to become a keeper at F5/F6? Not convinced he can but really like the way he goes about it

Steele is an interesting one, has looked very impressive but how many players go from a 60 average to 90 in one season? It can happen but I wouldn't be willing to roll the dice at this stage.

Huttabito

If anyone can though, it's an ex-GWS kid.

He could do an Anthony Miles or he could do a Jacob Townsend. 50/50 at this stage but I'm happy to use a corrective trade if his forms warrants it.

Laird is the only one I can think of in recent times

Ditto.  Was tossing up between Roughy and Steele. Decided on Steele but ATM have both ( F4 and F6 split by Nankervis ).  Really starting to believe that this will not be a guns and rookie season. I know this comes up every year but a bit weary of rookie JS this year.

Just made a team adjustment.  Bye, bye  Roughy and Thurlow.  Hi there  T Stewart ( or a playing rookie under 160k ) and Toby Greene.

Just do not understand dropping Roughy.  Worst case will be 90 avg.  potential 100+ and probably 95 average.   So buying points at 4100 a point if 90 and 3670 if 100 avg.

i reckon that's really optimistic, hawthorn aren't the team they were which will affect his scoring... 85-95 would be his range

Really don't think Roughy will ave that high when the real game begins and also think he'll get a lot more attention from the opposition than in the JLT practice matches. This is one time I would love to be wrong but have no hesitation at all in risking one corrective trade.

enzedder

Think both Steele and Rough can average 90+
Like both of them as picks but can only start one.
Currently have Rough. Less risk.
I think Steele will break out this year but there is doubt with these guys...always a punt.
He's played 17 games for a best SC score of 94... JLT was super impressive though...has booked himself a R1 gig for sure, will need to keep in reasonable form not only to be worthwhile but to stay in the 22.

Haha, its tough not to get on him! I'll leave him alone in salary cap games and hopefully grab him in drafts

Was on him very early on.  Like the prospect of midfield minutes.  Has been in and out of my team since then, the price point isn't very friendly.
