I always seem to come out with a few on FF erry year just after xmas...then low and behold it appears on the HUN website a few days later
I have no doubt there is a HUN journo in FF taking the glory for my bright ideas
Its a conspiracy I swear

Anyways....PODS in my team at the moment..i dont expect them to be top 10 but if i can get a $100k price increase and thwy maintain that higher ppg ave. id be happy with that and consider them good picks

ZSmith, Cognilio,Sexton & Acres

Obviously its gonna be tough for cogs to increase and maintain a 100k increase...but the others can do it easily i think

Zac Smith....? Please do explain. I'm a mad Geelong fan and would be delighted if he became a consistent force on the field!

How many games is Dom Sheed looking to get in the WCE midfield this year? From an outsiders perspective he appears to be on the fringe of the Eagles at the moment; any chance of him weaseling his way into best 15?

Imo as an outsider looking in I reckon he's definitely best 22.. probably 4th in line as an inside mid behind pridda shuey smitch.
Probably not top 15 but easily in that 15-20 bracket. A lot have been impressed by him this preseason and if he can even recapture 2015 form (remember he's only 21) where he averaged 72 (79 unsubbed) it'll be a win. Could push 80-85+ this year imo

I'd certainly have him best 22, at this stage there's probably too many inside mids ahead of him (like wato says) so a fair chunk of his time might be spent across half-forward. Personally wouldn't touch him for a few years yet, but watch his development under Sammy Mitchell closely ;)

Zac has put together 2 solid pre seasons, he is a good height, theres new ruck rules and his work around the ground is great with possessions, marks and tackling - I think he is actually pretty skilled for his size
Add a little factor of home ground advantage and being much happier after leaving the Suns I think he will surprise many this year  - just my opinion anyway...

Would love to hear people's thoughts on
Matt Crouch & Jack Steele

I'm considering Crouch, contested bull and looks like he skills are much better! Not butchering it all the time like last year, in 1.33% of teams! Can he go 110+?

Is Jack Steele legit this year or is he a JLT trap? Has looked really good the last two games and surely is locked in the saints 22? Does anyone think he can score enough to become a keeper at F5/F6? Not convinced he can but really like the way he goes about it

I have locked Steele in

Bloody hell.. I've added 3 mid pricers to my team this week.  Always seems to happen at the end of JLT.  Gotta sort out which ones stay... because as I seem to learn every year, there is no such thing as a "surefire mid pricer"

You cant compare this year to others in this department, as there are so little rookies you can bank on to do well and keep their spot

fasttrack13

Jackson Ramsay Lock (may seem like i'm jumping on a NAB game) but its proven he gets a lot of the ball...
19 Touches v Richmond
23 Touches v Carlton
then got injured last year
No danger of not lining up round one, he's one of the first pencilled into our backline. He's going to punch out a few 60-80 scores but i can guarantee, the way he racks up the ball, he will knock out enough 90+ scores to be considered a D6 option at most.

Hard to pass up at 290k - good option to go with to add 10-20 points scoring power over a rookie whilst allowing you to assess the quality amongst the defender premiums

You might be right, at this stage though, there aren't enough rookies to satisfy the guns and rookies strategy. So I'm finding other ways to make cash. This guy will go 75-80 which is enough to get him to around 400k, good 3 week period of could see him priced even higher at some point in the year, see him doing a macmillan from 2015 (which i also predicted with jmac). Going with my gut

I like Ramsay, but I think I'd prefer Thurlow for 267k. Was very consistent over JLT too
