Super prem breakouts tom Mitchell, jack Steven jack viney.

Pretty safe bet 1 of them averages over 110 maybe even 2.

If Viney was about 30k cheaper i think id take him but there just isn't enough incentive at 530k, good for 104-107 i reckon.

Viney looked ridiculous in the first half of the practice game against us. He was everywhere and probably should have kicked three goals. The fact he didn't kick those goals probably sums him up at this point, he isn't totally efficient which in turn hurts his scoring. I can see him pushing 105 but I don't know if he breaks the 110 barrier.

Geez I also love the look of Viney. Kid is an absolute gun.

I have $50 each on viney at nick Riewoldt for the Brownlow at $101 and $151 ... here's hoping haha

Yeah I just chucked it on cos I had a real decent win so thought I would chuck on a few blindfolded goes at the dart board.

Jack viney polled well last year but he only got the 1 vote a lot in games if he elevates that by 5 or so games should see a big difference and in a more successful side

Priddis doing the same as every year man, just performing consistently. Will be the same again this year, just your consistent 95-110 scorer. Not sure Sammy Mitchell will help or hinder him tbh.

Personally I'm not touching him as I don't see much value in him (he's priced where he should be). But in terms of finding someone safe as houses he's your man!

Probably not enough upside in starting him

SMitch might impact him slightly, but I expect Shuey to take it to the next level too

Still think Pridda will go 105+, but can't see any major benefit in starting him

Not a lot of great forward options this year, and at only 347k I think he can go 90+ which is good enough for fwd this year, and his DPP is handy too

Don't generally like mid pricers and breakout contenders, but at his price and the lack of forwards I reckon it would be an easy fix if it doesn't work out

His score today doesn't influence my decision, but it does make me think about him

Like I mentioned, I was close to starting him last year but he was never going to get his chance to shine in such a deep GWS side but now at the Saints I think he has much more room to stamp his authority as one of their main mids

Was a beast as a junior too, so it's not a reaction to one score vs a crappy Blues team - I really think he can become a keeper, but at the same time I just hate starting mid pricers unless they are proven fallen prems due to injury

Also, I think what's genuinely got me thinking about him is the fact that I just don't want to start Ryder, which I am currently doing purely as cover

If I was to say start Steele instead, I pocket 70k and if either Steele doesn't work out or one of my rucks misses a week or two I've got the option of using a trade to turn Steele into Nank/Ryder for cover

Just feel like I'd rather start him over the ruck cover options

Not sure about Steele breaking out.    Agree with you on Ryder though and so open to alternative.   ATM got Darcy at f8 may upgrade him to Nank or just go bareback on Sandi and do it without cover.


Prefer Mills to Heeney as breakout and will go with Caddy for byes and m/f dpp.
