With you on this JV.   Likely to see his % increase as we get closer to round 1 and people start looking for cheaper options.   However I see him as unlikely to average over 100.  Is a future star though and probably be compared to Dusty by start of next season.

He just seems perfect for SC, and with a lot of forward options being taken away I think we are going to have 50% of our on-field forward line scoring under 100 so I'd be happy with that.

What do see you see as his likely end of year average.    For me 20-25% chance of 90-95.   I think he will continue to have too many scores under 80 dragging down his average.    Last season he had 6/17 over 80  for the year.    Keep in mind this is only his 2nd year.   Yes he is a solid boy and has great aerial and ground skills as well as will kick 30+ goals for the year.   Just likely to fade out again in 2nd half of year.

I guess I'm looking at him as a POD and stepping stone apart from other names that have popped up.  I think with the addition of guys like Lewis and Hibberd, the side will be better this year and should result in higher scoring across the board.  2nd year fade out would be fine with the upgrade and Dees do have a nice start to the season.  Will wait and see what happens prior to round 1! ;)

Viney looked ridiculous in the first half of the practice game against us. He was everywhere and probably should have kicked three goals. The fact he didn't kick those goals probably sums him up at this point, he isn't totally efficient which in turn hurts his scoring. I can see him pushing 105 but I don't know if he breaks the 110 barrier.

Pretty safe bet 1 of them averages over 110 maybe even 2.

If Viney was about 30k cheaper i think id take him but there just isn't enough incentive at 530k, good for 104-107 i reckon.

Any concern about 2nd year syndrome. Realise he is 21 and we have seen so many players fail to back up first seasons.

Geez I also love the look of Viney. Kid is an absolute gun.

Technically it's a 3rd year breakout, but he was injured that first year. ;)  But who knows, he could be making up for that year he missed!  He's in for now, but tossing up between him and Wingard...

I've given up trying to pick who is going to break out just no good at it my strategy now is to wait till a player has well and truly broken out then pay top dollar it is expensive but seems to work  ;)
