ok cheers mate.  I think they must have just released the ability to purchase gold, and turned it off for everyone else.

Anyone tempted to fork out the cash to start with Nick Riewoldt as a POD?

I'm assuming be won't be on many coach's radars, but the guy just keeps performing.

The Saints should be on the rise this year, and assuming he's still fit and firing I'm wondering if he could be a decent selection in a pretty tough to pick forward line?

Could be a solid pod, generally starts the season flying if I remember correctly!

I'm tempted by n.vlastuin (def 407,800) tipped to be getting midfield time and was a top mid as a junior hoping he could av 100 and sit as my d4-5

If your D5 is averaging 100 you're a genius.
He won't average that much but he could easily push for 90+
When he's gone into the midfield previously he's scored really well.
Everyone's getting more midfield time according to the articles this time of year though so I would still wait and see

Prestia and Caddy probably directly replace the lesser mids and then lids has gone and martin tipped to play more forward. Honestly can't see vlastuin's role changing though

Hi GB, lets get you there!  Click on team and bring that up. Near top left you'll see analyser, click on that.  Then near the bottom of the column on the left of your page you'll see coaches choice, click on that and all will be cool.       :)

I probably won't start him, but Gaff at 490k is tempting me

Don't think Mitchell coming in would have a massive impact because he rarely gets tagged anyway so teams will still put attention into Gaff, but at 490k he is capable of going 105+

So far i'm starting Gaff. He had 3 scores in the 40's which hurt his average (one of them was thanks to jonas knocking him out). Anyone know what the other 2 were? Did he just get tagged out the game? If those 3 games in the 40's are gone, Gaff averages 104.

Don't think he'll reach those levels but could outscore Murphy etc. I'm viewing Beams & Murphy as cash cows and/or midfiled depth players. Both should hit 550k at some stage in the year.

yeah Barlow is definitely not an investment player. It all comes down to whether or not he's going to be M7-M8 at the end of the year.

Maybe I'll start him and burn a trade after two rounds if he hasn't set it on fire. I guess he can be the risk player for me this year.

This could come down a decision Rd. 1. If the 120k rookies are shower, Barlow may need to trade down to secure someone more steady.

Not sure if he's been mentioned in this thread, but anyone considering Jeremy Howe?

I'm very keen to see his role throughout the preseason, thinking he could be a nice POD to Adams if he's playing in the same SC friendly half back role.

He averaged a tick over 100 from round 5 onward last year after being moved into the backline, and considering Adams is currently in just over 30% of teams perhaps he could be worth a look?
