A massive week with so many premo guns going huge. The top 7 all bettered what was the top score of the year, with Vinny smashing the field by the length of the Flemington Straight.

Wow! These guys are all class and what a show they put on.
3 of them featured in the week's top 10 and Huggy's 2516pts was just outside in 12th, 3 points off MC who was 10th.
All four are in the Elxam Group's top5 for the year. It's a hard gig at the top.

Elxam Champions League Minor Premier Finals

This means AaronKirk will bow out of the Elxam Champions League in 2018 as he is currently sitting in 45th in the group on total points with a round to go. He's an absolute champ and I'm shocked to see him leave the league. 2017 has been annus horribilis for him and I'm certain he'll bounce back next year and push the very best once more.

As for yours truly I'm not prepared to bow out... I'm still standing after MC has tried to scuttle me twice over the last two weeks.
I'm currently sitting in 7th on total points and will do my best to qualify that way. Given the amount of teams above and below me on total points who have already qualified it appears I'm a monty to grab one of the last spots (fingers crossed anyway) and feature in the Champs league for a record sixth straight year. Here's hoping.  ;)

Elxam Challengers League 2018
To be determined by Total Points placings after the Champions League spots have been filled.
If coaches aren't able to commit or simply don't want to then their place will be forfeited to the next highest qualifier on Total Points. The premier of this league will automatically qualify for the Champions League as has been the case in the past when additional leagues have been run in Elxam. Should their be sufficient interest then a third league could operate but we'll have to see how things shape up.

It may not sound like a lot but I had my best week by far last week and only beat Capper by 147. It's highly unlikely I back up those efforts so the only way I catch him is if he chokes.
