Can't get Mutimer unless you downgrade O'Meara mid only.

So Hampton to McNiece or EVW for bye purposes (With Berry maybe too many for Rd 11) (EVW cheaper than Berry)
JOM to a mid you can afford.

Well, if I got Mutimer, then obviously would be bringing in Lloyd or Adams for Hampton, and if Adams, then move him into the mids at some point before their bye.

The mids I like I'd rather wait on at the moment (e.g. Ablett, Sloane, Jelwood). Hence why I'm only looking at forward and defensive options atm. Not keen on EVW. Not fussed on Berry's bye, as there's a good chance I'll have traded him or Newman by then anyway aha. And if I have Berry in the mids, then Barrett will likely be traded once our bye comes around as well. So yeah, not too fussed with the rookies!

SilverLion

Reckon Houston/Pickett --> Yeo, and O' Meara to Mutimer/Myers.

Tis the week to get the traitor if you're going to get him I reckon, projected increase of another $30k this week.

I'm keeping Pickett in the hope that he returns and scores like a 50 and gets above 200k hahaha. Will also wait to grab Myers next week.

But yeah, I reckon it's time to get the traitor in :o

Hampton-->Berry will probably be my downgrade tbh.

GoLions

Scored 2168, praise Newman

Went Hampton to Berry and JOM to Yeo

This week going Houston to Myers via Balic, and SPP to Zerrett, 14k left in the kitty, 18 trades left as well

Team now looks like:

Banking on one of Rocky or Beams playing this week, both would be ideal :P

Gonna need Balic and Parsons to get up, so could be in trouble there :-X

If I am copping a donut, could consider bringing in Macrae over Zerrett...but Zerrett with a BE of 60 I really want to bring him in this week.

Future upgrade targets are (with backup options in brackets):

DEF - Adams, Pittard (Lloyd, Roberton, Simpson, Rance, Joey, Harbrow, JJ)
MID - Jelwood (JPK, Sloaney, Hanners, Neale, ZZZZZZZORKOOOOOOOOOOOO, Dusty, Treloar, Ablett, Gray)
RUCK - Jacobs (Goldy, Grundy, Gawn, Mummy)
FWD - TJ Lynch, Macrae (JJK, Nroo, Buddy, Heeney, Wingard, TT Lynch, Higgins)

Pittard probably comes in either next week or the week after, pending Marchbank's BE. Lynch in 2 weeks after he bottoms out, and ideally Taranto will have topped out then as well. Just need some good downgrade options now ;D

PowerBug

Looking at it visually, they are the best trades to make. So Rocky out pushes Myers onto the field, and Fisher the lone emergency. Obviously if Beams misses then you have no cover and Parsons or Balic missing won't make a difference to your upgrade target, but if Beams plays and say Parsons misses, you do have to weigh up Zerrett vs Macrae + Fisher in terms of points for this week, then obviously the cash Zerrett goes up and whether you can jump on next week.

I'm not a big fan of Pittard in SuperCoach, he hasn't really shown me much to want to pick him up next week. Ryder is clearly the in form Port player at the moment and he'd finish your fwds off (If Touk turns good)

Maybe Rance is a better option in defence? It's who I want to get next in there.

Yeah pretty much. Will also look at cash league H2H if I'm copping a forward donut. Already given up on overall haha, so if I'm either definitely not gonna win, or opponent is hit even worse, I'd stick with Zerrett. But if it's looking really close...would probably go with Macrae. If I did grab Macrae, then I'd probably pass on Zerrett altogether, and look at, for example, Jelwood and Sloaney to complete my mids when they bottom out.

He seemed to be not using the ball as well in his first few games, but looked reaaaally good last week. DT averaging almost 100 and usually goes better in SC. I'm backing him to average 95 or so, and the fact that he'd play through all 3 bye rounds is a huge bonus.
Yeah Ryder gone bananas over the last 2 weeks haha, but was averaging like 85 before those 2 big weeks, so I dunno there. Feel like it could pay off massively, or screw me over big time :P
Lynch would be a rollercoaster but will be dirt cheap in 2 weeks, and also playing through the byes. Still wouldn't mind someone like Buddy in there though...

If I didn't grab Pittard, Lloyd would probably be my next option, but Rance also appealing, especially with his bye and current price.

SilverLion

Yup solid trades this week, would do Macrae instead of Zerrett if both Balic and Parsons don't get up, not sure its worth copping two donuts to bring him in.

Also why Zerrett over Oliver?

Yeah Balic already ruled out is annoying haha. If Fisher or Beams don't get up though I'll be copping a mid donut if I get Macrae, so see how that goes :P

Personally, I don't think Oliver will keep it up. Zerrett I am MUCH more confident in. Also, that bye...already have Rocky, Beams, Bont, Barrett, Fisher in R11. Oliver flowers it up even more :P

GoLions

Sandi out is a tad annoying this week. I could upgrade him to Jacobs or Goldy, and hold off on my Marchbank to Pittard trade. Means I'll cop a price hit on Marchbank though unless he kills it. Also, if I don't trade Sandi, I'll have a forward donut so my downgrade will have to be Stewart or go a week early on Greenwood (i.e. can't get Lloyd as intended).

Hmmm...thoughts? 14k left before trades.

SilverLion

I'd do Greenwood for Pickett and play him on the field. Swing Nank into the rucks for Strnadica.

Perryman for Marchbank possibly, but would rather wait and see how him, Cumming and Scharenberg all play this week.

GoLions

So team reached destination flowered a long time ago, so kinda thinking flower it and just go for broke now aha.

Sandi and Taranto for TJ Lynch and Wallis this week. Newman to Lloyd in a couple. With 140k in the bank atm, shouldn't need to do any downgrades for these 3 trades. Leaves me with a finished defence (but Pittard D6 and no Adams), 1 mid upgrade remaining (Scooter current M8 though), 1 ruck upgrade remaining (will wait for Gawn), and a finished forward line (but Touk F6 and no Macrae), with 11 trades remaining and probably like 20k or so in the bank.

So with those 11 trades, the Scooter upgrade hopefully costs me only 100k and can go just the 1 up, 1 down. Gawn should go down a fair bit in price, will be upgrading Greenwood to him in the end I reckon, so will likely cost me around 200k. And then ideally Pittard to Adams for 150-200k, Touk to Macrae for 100-150k. So should need about 600k for these upgrades, hopefully can do it all in 8 trades. More likely though that it takes a few more haha, possibly even all 11 :P

GoLions

Traded Touk instead of Taranto last week as he was a late out, and was fed up with his shower :P

Have 70k in the bank now, only looking to use 2 trades this week I think. Myers down to a rookie (looking at Mitch Hibberd to open up D/M), and then Taranto up to Macrae.

Next week will be bringing Lloyd in, along with Ryan.

At least one of Brown/Beech the week after I reckon.

Team atm before trades:

GoLions

Ok so here is where I'm at now:

171k in the bank, 8 trades left.

This week I'm thinking Stewart to Witherden, which will make me another 210k, giving me 380k all up.

Beams to JPK costs me 40k, which will bring me down to 340k.

Next week, Parsons to Deluca will make me another 160k or thereabouts, bringing me to 500k in the kitty.

I would also be looking at Gawn, and trading Scooter to him will probably be how I get there. Should cost me at most 150k, which gives me 350k in the bank.

The following week, Newman or Shaw to Adams should cost between 60-80k (will say 80k for now), leaving me with 270k.

At this point, I would be left with 3 trades, and just the 1 mid upgrade to go. Whilst I would love to keep Greenwood, I think he'll have to be the one to make way. Zorko or Jelwood should still be quite cheap at this point in time, and I'm sure someone else will come up too. Assuming Greenwood is able to get to around 400k, I should have between 650-700k to spend on my final mid. If I can pick up someone like Jelwood for 500k, that leaves me with hopefully enough cash to potentially go Nank/Lynch to Macrae as a luxury trade, however it would depend on their form. More likely I would just hold my last 2 trades though.

This plan seems decent enough, anything I've missed? :P

Jelemas

I'd skip the Parsons to Deluca trade as keeping trades where you can will be handy.
Id go:
R15: Stewart/Beams - Witherden/Kennedy (340k)
R16: Parsons - Gawn (85k)

That leaves you with Greenwood as cover and enough money for a def to Adams or maybe S.Selwood to J.Selwood the week after.
