Off Season Movers

Check Out Levi's Survey: https://surveyplanet.com/584f494722b71405751654bd
It's a web version of the proposed below, looks great doesn't it? Let us know when you've completed the survey and feel free to make any further comments or contribute to the discussion!

Plenty of names changed clubs over this ongoing off-season, some with more publicity than others.
A new home can mean a new role, some more fantasy relevant than others.

In somewhat of a survey, I was hoping that we could 'vote' on the output and relevance of the guys who have switched teams, rather than smaller threads popping up for each of the semi-relevant players.

If you could quote/copy the below table, and then bold/strikethrough your opinion on each player, that would be much appreciated.
Feel free to discuss any of the names mentioned in further detail.

We are looking for either an increase/decrease in scoring output because of a new home, and whether or not the player is at all fantasy relevant.

For example,

Deledio at GWS:

Money Shot

Marley Williams could be my pod for the season. Was averaging in the 80's and at 300k if he can go 85 he would be a great investment.

Wouldn't go anywhere near mid-priced defenders, you'd be wasting your time considering there are an abundance of quality premium players on offer...

Shaw, Docherty, Simpson, Rance, Laird, Montagna, Adams, Vince, Johannisen, Howe, McDonald... Better off stacking your team with 3-4 of those and exploring down forward with players such as steele that you mentioned.

Very good point!

I also like the cheaper premiums such as Hartlett, Smith, Hibberd and Murphy as I think they could and should go 90+ but I'm going with a mid price lay out this year as I've always wanted too.

Think that Jack Steele at St. Kilda will be one to watch, got stuck behind many other names in a strong GWS midfield but is probably closer to getting games with the Saints. Has never tonned up at AFL level, but managed a score in the 90s in just his third game of AFL footy.

Has averaged almost 40 disposals in the NEAFL with good tackle numbers too, third year of footy but has had a few injury problems of late. One of many mid-pricers this upcoming season at $347k but Mid/Fwd DPP means you can't cross him off the watchlist just yet.

Assuming he is fit, we should get to see a fair bit of him throughout the Pre Season Cup.

Only worry is those ahead of him...

Mids: Armitage, Steven, Dunstan, Weller, Ross, Stevens, Newnes, Sinclair
M/F's: Lonie, Gresham, Billings, Acres

i reckon he gets in straight away over sinclair and acres but not too sure on the others...

Sinclair, Stevens, Dunstan imo would be behind him. Armo or Newnes may move to half back.

Bradley Hill at Fremantle:
Increase/Decrease
Relevant Yes/No Too awkwardly priced for a mid, wont go 100+ which youd need him to.

Jack Steele at St Kilda:
Increase/Decrease
Relevant - Yes/No Will increase, not enough to consider.

Daniel Wells at Collingwood:
Increase/Decrease = Same
Yes/No High price mid only and injury prone.

Tyrone Vickery at Hawthorn:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No Extra 5-10 points a game in better side, not relevant.

Chris Mayne at Collingwood:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No Small increase with bigger role, will still score poorly.

Sam Mitchell at West Coast:
Increase/Decrease = About the same.
Yes/No - Too much of an unknown for a high priced 34 year old with better premium mid options.

Tom Mitchell at Hawthorn:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - A small increase. Increased role in Hawks mid but increased attention also. Better options to start but keep an eye on.

Nathan Brown at St Kilda:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No May increase? But completely non relvant, wont crack 60 very often.

Paul Ahern at North Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Hard not to increase on nothing, on the watch for a bench spot if he can get his body right in a weak NM side.

Pearce Hanley at Gold Coast:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Can likely average 100-105. But thats not enough to be a mid keeper and already fully priced.

Jordan Lewis at Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease = About the same.
Yes/No - Too many better options at price or cheaper.

Joel Hamling at Fremantle:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Key defender, might score a little more but not relevant at all.

Michael Hibberd at Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Slightly underpriced, needs to lift slightly on previous average to be a keeper, worth considering, watch in preseason.

Dion Prestia at Richmond:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Would be a risky pick but underpriced and potential to average close to 110. Wouldnt start but keep an eye on.

Toby Nankervis at Richmond:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Can increase but still not relevant.

Jarrod Witts at Gold Coast:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Cheap for onfield, expensive for bnech. Keep an eye on as will be in a battle with Nichols for ruck time. If Nichols does an injury and misses the start of the season will make  some quick cash. Can average a handy 80 at 200k if number 1 ruck.

Nathan Hrovat at North Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Bigger role in weaker team but probably wouldnt start.

Shane Kersten at Fremantle:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No Big unproven key forward. Ignore.

Zach Tuohy at Geelong:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Will likely be the number one rebounding defender for the cats with retirements, could also play on the wing and be in midfield rotations. No at this point but watch his role in preseason.

Billie Smedts at Carlton:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - More game time at Carlton but still not relevant.

Josh Caddy at Richmond:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Has promised to break out for a number of years, struggled to find consistancy. Its no for me at this point but not a bad risk to take.

Jarryd Lyons at Gold Coast:
Increase/Decrease - About the same.
Yes/No Highly priced with too much unknown, pass.

Pat McKenna at Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Honestly dont know much about him, will keep an eye on the preseason form.

Nathan Vardy at West Coast:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Injury history offputting, but could step into the number 1 ruck role with Nic Nat out, could make you some early season cash.

Travis Cloke at Western Bulldogs:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Will be better this year but not by enough to consider.

James Stewart at Essendon:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Likely to be inconsistent with scoring as a goal kicker but cheap and worth a look at F6-8

Aaron Black at Geelong:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Will increase if plays, but still wont score much, not relevant.

Will Hoskin-Elliot at Collingwood:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Injury history a worry but will be hard not to select if fit and named round 1, priced at 200k at picked up to fill a needed outside role at pies. Could average 80-85 early and make good cash.

Jack Frost at Brisbane:
Increase/Decrease - About the same.
Yes/No Lock down kwy defender, stay away.

Lynden Dunn at Collingwood:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Big defender, not minimum priced. Stay away.

Marley Williams at North Melbourne:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Could see a bigger role at NM but not a huge ceiling, avoid.

Caleb Marchbank at Carlton:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Probably just a little too pricey but will get games, keep an eye on.

Jarrod Pickett at Carlton:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - If named round 1 lock him in for a bench spot, will be inconsistent with scoring but mature aged rookie priced players are gold.

Rhys Palmer at Carlton:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No -May see more of the ball but not enpugh to consder.

Jaeger O'Meara at Hawthorn:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Will likely miss the first 5-6 games and awkwardly priced to bring in at that stage. Keep an eye on though.

Brett Deledio at GWS:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No - Great scoring history and underpriced based on that. Biggest query is role at new club, has to share forward duties with Johnson, Greene and Smith. Will be popular but not sold on him as there are so many GWS players that can go big and they wont have 10+ players average 100. In his favor is the serious lack of the great forward options this year though.

Koby Stevens at St Kilda:
Increase/Decrease
Yes/No Can do a littl better but not convinced he is a walk up start in the team, bettr options.
