So goldy 6 in the first quarter.

Then 44 in the second.

Who knows whats coming next.

An injury.

quinny88

If that ankle isn't bad and Preuss is kept out I will definitely be looking at bringing him in

Hawka

Are you serious?

87 against sandi is above what he normally gets.

44 in the second quarter. 24 in the last and he was off the ground.

He isnt a 128 player.

Grundy has cox comimg in.

Take Wittlands' average points scored per dollar spent

Apply it to Danger and he would be averaging 256 ppg

Add Nankervis into Wittlands and rucks have never been better value

Witts looks safe for a while with Nicholls not going well in NEAFL:

Extract from Suns v Lions NEAFL Match Report yesterday:

"The absence of Loersch helped the Lions dominate the ruck, as Tim Nicholls (15 hit-outs) and Academy youngster Brayden Crossley (nine hit-outs) were outpointed by Archie Smith (30 hit-outs, 16 disposals) and Oscar McInerney (seven hit-outs, 16 disposals, two goals)."

You're faith and loyalty towards Goldy are admirable Holz.
Your points made on Grundy have some merit but at this point in time Goldy looks some way down the list of best rucks.
Martin and Mummy are clearly the top two.
Nankervis is a must have. Nice to have in fwds with link.
Sandi, Witts and Grundy are getting it done.
If and when I need to change Witts/ Sandi... I doubt I'll be looking at bringing Goldy back in.

I think Goldy's biggest problem is the ankle injuries I take this is the same ankle in preseason and kept him out the other week ? if the game was not in the balance he would not have come back on , think it will get to a point soon with Norf out of contention that Preuss will take over and Goldy's ankle will be fixed

Goldy was a bad starter but at 500k i would pick him up over a 600k stef.

If you have witts sandi you can wait a few weeks to decide.

Goldy has had preuss and injury holding him back. If that continues he will struggle.

But he isnt worth a trade out. If the things holding him back disappear thrn he is a very good  cheap pick up.

Eg.

Ill pick up hanners this week over sloane because of price and history of hanners being just as good if not bwtter

Yeah...no one worth trading Goldy to at this stage I agree. Factors could change and he could dominate again. I dumped Goldy in R2 and jumped on Witts when he was still 217k and Goldy looked like he could be a late out...that horse has bolted...and now time will paint a clearer picture as to whether he is a keeper who is the best to trade to.
Mummy looks great but his situation can change in any given week.
As for Hanners v Sloane... brought in Hanners yesterday. Sloane is my next target....with Miller and Swallow out next week I can afford him...would complete my mids... Danger, Pendles, Sloane, Bont, Hanners, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar

HoleMeal

I have Stef and Sandi R1&2 with Preuss Emerg and Nank up fwd.
With Gawn and Spencer injured it opens the door for Mitch King Ruck/Fwd at $123k.
Preuss to King in a couple of weeks (assuming King plays of course) opens up DPP with Nank and also nets some good coin, hopefully $120k-ish.
