Which Rucks?

Vicarious pleasure as Gawn went down on the weekend.   So my apologies for my thoughts.
On another note I have Goldy getting whiteanted by Preuss.        How do I fix my problems.

Mids,    M7 JOM, M8 SPP (SPS, Hibberd, Barrett)
Ruck:   Goldy, Sandi,  Strnadica
Fwds     Dahl, Higgins, Nank, Steele, Roughy, Houston, (Eddy, Parfitt)

Decided to do the noble thing and have faith in Goldy after copping the donut to late to trade to Witts,   Then saving trades last week and missing Witts cash generation.      Now I have cracked it as he will be a dud whilst Preuss is playing and that looks like forever.

So,  wait for Spencer and take his cash upgrade and move nank to R1.    Trade Goldy to Murphy.    Trade JOM to Swallow,   Trade Goldy to Hanners, Bont.      Aveg 2150 three weeks in a row I need more points.

Ideas please.

Holz

If not for a rolled ankle, Preuss would be out and Goldy would be the sole ruck and im convinced he would have smashed it against Geelong then gone ok against mummy.

"We will probably choose our rucks against the opposition a little bit," Scott said of how the position will be allocated in the future.

"Preuss was really good against Mumford around the ground, Goldstein is more of an athletic type ruckman who can get over the top of most and give some real mobility around the ground so we'll just try and work out the balance there and get each of them to play to their strengths."

now do we think Goldy wasn't 100% and they eased him back and with Majak and Waite out they needed somebody to play forward and Goldy wasn't able to go into the ruck?

Chosing the rucks against opposition is interesting though, got to remember that preuss is bigger then goldy so against mummy makes sense. Also makes sense against Sandi who is coming up in 2 weeks.

With Dogs next week you would think Goldy is the ideal match up since he Campbell isnt a big guy. If preuss is the number 1 ruck next week then im dumping him as if thats the case he will be number 1 against sandi.

Ryder offered 1 weeks suspension

Off-loaded him last week, things are clicking this year.

Not a great week for my Gawn / Ryder ruck combo. A huge dent for Gawn owners. A trade, points lost, cash lost, keeper lost. :(. On the bright side my trades pretty much pick 'emselves. Gawn to Stef. Ryder to bench. Preuss on field. Hibberd to Newman.

Actually before I get ahead of myself I had better watch out that Brad Scott doesn't drop Preuss for team balance. Oh Yeah! That would be just dandy!

That will be the only reason Goldstein stays in my side.  :P

If I were you Holz I would dump him before his price drops. Now is the time, leave it any longer and you will be stuck on the roller coaster. This week may be fine but then you have the worry the following week. Goldy to Stef or Goldy to mid premo.

Don't know about you Holz, Scott is not holding my SC team hostage every weekend whilst he decides who plays where.   I will go nuts.    So Goldy is gone.    Not sure how to make the most of the decision now it is made.

Can see a lot of Gawn to Witts trades this week.
I can too and id be happy for people to do that.

As someone who started Witts i expect that i will trade him to Gawn at some point.
So Gawn owners will need to use 2 trades to get him out and then back in whilst also being hit with the price drop this week and missing the first Witts price gain. the the Gan price drops helps me bring him in. Win Win Win Win.

Gawn is out for 2 to 3 months he may not even be worth getting back this year who knows it's a long time not playing but I can't keep him that long Witts or maybe Spencer now ? and I can replace O'meara with Sloane or Pendles not even thinking about getting Gawn back
I dont believe that it will be a 10 week injury.

nah you are right its 12

The thing is do you have other better trades to do.

if he puts up a 50 then he drops 50k and you need to trade him out.

my prediction is Goldy will be the number 1 ruck next week, if im wrong then he is gone.

getting in Newman and Touk could be the better move for me.

in saying that im seriously considering Goldy to Witts then JOM to Sloane next week. just seems lots of sideways moves need to start getting some keepers in the team and touk looks a keeper.

If Goldy get his predicted 87 he will still drop 44+K

Apart from Missy's score that is..... Ryder's suspension makes me feel better about the trade though.

I am passing on Newman and gone JOM, Goldy > Murphy, T Miller

Can you really afford to pass on Newman?
