Pure silk.
CD love him. Doesn't need many posies to score well. Thrives in close games and uses the pill so well.
I've been set on starting him from the end of the 2016 season.

For a similar price would you rather Sloane? Love his early season draw and ultimate POD.

Absolutely no hope getting picked in my side. Just don't see much upside for the price.

His 115 from round 7 on wards and the fact he just turned 21 isnt enough upside  for you?

would argue he pretty much has the most upside of the premo mids.

Im starting him.

he has more downside then most premo mids but certainly has one of the higest upsides.

All good I don't agree. Won't be touching him.
I feel like there is so much depth in that midfield the points will be spread and he will a hunted man.
Time shall tell all.

With regards to having the most upside of premo mids? Seriously? Fyfe and beams blow him away in that regard and obviously will have 95% ownership on this site.

Fyfe in 2013 averaged 106 in his 4th season, then went 122 the year after.

Bont averaged 107 in his 3rd season, its not crazy to say he can repeat 2014 Fyfe.

Beams had 1 huge year but apart from that 115 has been his best, he is being held back by injury.

Fyfe is being held back too.

I have all 3 but saying bont has the most upside isnt crazy. The man did just post a 142.5 average in the prelim and grandfinal.

and remember the age.

Sloane has only ever had one year of 115, and every other year he lands in the 105-108 range. Personally, I see more upside in Bont

I think Rocky and possibly Treloar are better picks for a few extra bux, and I'll be keeping an eye on Titch at his price

Sloane is never a bad pick, but my personal preference is others

Sloane went 114.7 in 2014.
Went 117 unsubbed and concussion game out of the way 2015.
Went 112 after Round 3 last year.

He's a good scorer. Mids around him another year under their belt. Easy opening draw which means he'll play good to get wins early and then hard games to finish the year so he'll have to play well to keep winning.

In my guns rookies team I couldn't get beams to m8 unless I dropped Gawn.
If ya being legit you must be going rookies from f3 down?

No bont for me. Too many others priced better

Money Shot

Was looking at Cripps or Bont and with Cripps having an interrupted preseason Bont is looking good.

Read an interesting article about the new ruck rule change for this year

The Bont averaged 107.7 in 2016, but of that average he averaged 3.85 ppg from hitouts, so with that now no longer being an option for him his average would have been 103.8

Does that sway anyone from starting him?

That being said, he won't be able to go 3rd man up anymore, but that does mean he will be down on the ground now instead and could probably just win possessions from the rucks hitout now and recoup those lost points anyway

Thoughts?

Youd think its not hard for him to make those points up, especially with so much natural improvement possible at his age. Still, when you are spliiting hairs between Parker, Bont, Treloar, Sloane all at dimilar prices Bint is the only one losing points from this rule. Could possibly sway me.

Bully

I'll be picking the Bont this year, reckon he's tracking in a very similar manner to Nat Fyfe.
