"He's a competitor Johan Botha" says Mark Waugh every time he bowls or comes out to bat.
Haha, it was the first thing he said tonight ;D

Lads and Ladies. Just a quick one. Does the VA loophole still apply in Super coach BBL? I.e I have Maxwell VC, so if I bench a Steketee and bring on Kane Richardson and put the C on him, will Maxwells score double and I still get Steketee's bench score?
I believe so as per rules
Your 4 Substitutes do not add their points towards your team total, however your Substitutes act as automatic emergencies and will automatically have their score added (as long as they score greater than 0) to replace a player in your Starting 11 who doesn't play and receives a score of 0 - in their matching position only.
Your selected Captain (or vice captain if your captain doesn't play) scores double points. You may change your captain selection during each nominated trade period, up until the start of their match in any Round. Once a selected Captain's (and Vice Captain's) real-life match has started, your Captain/Vice Captain selection is locked in and can no longer be changed.

I am taking Maxwells score as VC and using Dunk as C with Piersons score to count.

It's his favourite line without a doubt haha.

Why would the Scorchers have moved Willey up the order? I realise he's a powerful hitter and could understand pushing him ahead of Voges, but surely M Marsh or Turner were better options ???

I think we are a bit over confident with the depth of the batting line up

Turner  :'( :'( :'(
Should have had him at 3 instead of Whiteman or at his best position at 6.

Rusty00

Geez these umpires don't have any confidence in their own ability. That was so obviously safe, there was no need for the 3rd umpire ::)

Nige

Scorchers easily the best team on paper. They bat deep and still have a good bowling lineup yet they're doing pretty ordinary thus far.

Obviously throwing this game with Voges bowling now :o

6 singles would be fine if we weren't defending 130  :-\

Pretty stupid batting by Silk there. Needing less than 1 a ball, just had to see Tye off, instead he tries the big shot.

Probably won't matter but he didn't need to put a new batsman under pressure.

Edit: definitely won't matter

Tye  :-*

If only we had another...oh wait we do, his name is Behrendorff :-\

Imagine this Scorchers team with MJ and Dorff in there, plus Tye. Then guys like Paris, Cartwright, Richardson fighting as depth.

Would be a pretty insane unit just quietly.

Last night was poor, but we were good against the Strikers at home.
