In terms of where both teams are at, this seems an appropriate trade. Rio, going for back-to-back flags, and Toronto, accumulating the young talent. James Kelly was bidded with Pick 47 a while back, but I reckon others would have bid if they could (me for example). Pick 30ish seems appropriate.

I see no real issues with the trade, so will pass it without a fuss.

Also want to remind people that (coz its about to apply to me), if you trade out a rookie listed player in this trade period, you have to demote a senior listed player to the rookie list in his place. The rookie you trade out goes on the other teams senior list.

This hasn't happened before, but the question normally comes up every year and that's what I've told people. I'm not just making this up now because it will apply to me soon.

I'm aware you can hypothetically trade a rookie for a rookie so each team can demote a senior player to their rookie list, but if that were to happen I reckon the fair way to do it would just be to retain those players on the rookie list of their new team... its probably how I would admin it anyway.
